So good and so cute. Loved my lavender Latte
This is the first time that I went to Russell's; it was a very amusing experience. The temperature inside, the cleanliness, the music and the volume of the music. It was very adequate to relax, have a conversation, study, do virtual work. The service is great with great recommendations from the baristas. Russell's Bakery & Coffee @ Hancock offers delicious treats and excellent service. Their custom cakes, like the graduation cake, are made to order and taste amazing. The bakery serves strong coffee, delectable breads like lemon poppy seed and pumpkin, and rich chocolate cakes. They also offer quick and healthy lunch options, including the Italian Godfather sandwich, and have a friendly staff.
The bakery has a decent selection of sandwiches, and the tomato bisque is delicious. Customers are often pleasantly surprised to find a bag of chips that's not mentioned in the description. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the Hancock/Balcones Road location has a good old Austin vibe.
Customers have been impressed by the variety of gluten-free baked goods, particularly the pecan and banana muffins, which are considered some of the best-tasting baked goods around. While the icing on the cupcakes has been described as having a waxy or chemical taste, the peanut butter brownie is said to be spectacular.
