“I’ve been there many times over many years. This review isn’t based on one visit. They are friendly and consistent. The prices are fair and the quality of food is to par. They hire hard working locals that have their livelihood invested in the community. Just keep in mind that when your bill is low because of the menu prices, tipping more than the minimum keeps the employees a little less stressed in their personal lives as well as happy at work able to serve you better. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is good“

“I came in at the tail end of lunch (specials end at 2:30pm), and was immediately seated and served. The staff are attentive without being pushy.

I ordered the Tempura Shrimp roll, the Philly roll, and the Tonkatsu Ramen. During lunch they have great prices on multiple rolls which includes soup. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful. The ramen had a rich broth and delicious chashu pork on top. It's about time Bastrop got a ramen restaurant, I'm so glad it's authentic too.

I absolutely recommend Volcano and will be back again!

I have been back several times since opening and the consistency of the food and service is always top notch. I've come during weekends, weekdays, lunch, and dinner. Delicious, fast service at very reasonable prices. For the price of a fast food meal you could come have a delicious bowl of ramen just as quick. I always recommend Volcano to locals and out of towners alike.“

“We were looking for a healthier option for lunch so we tried this place out today. The food was delicious! The service was not very attentive. It felt like we were in there home eating there homemade cooking lol. The atmosphere was very relaxed, maybe to relaxed. We will definitely be returning because the food was so good!“
