“We love Silver Dollar Winery and Italian Bistro!!! it’s a must stop at when you are in Texas Hill Country! We feel it is the most authentic winery in the area!! The grounds are absolutely amazing to get a bottle of wine and a great Italian meal and sit outside, taking in the beautiful countryside! We love the chicken poblano lasagna, it’s to die for! The staff is amazing and super friendly! Feels like coming home every time we visit from Colorado!!“

“We stopped in yesterday and had a great time. Jill is beyond friendly and hospitable. Learned from Jill that their grapes come from Northern CA. Jill shared they have a lot of sweet wines but when I shared that I prefer a drier red, she recommended the tempranillo which was great. We ended up buying a bottle.

The winery is spacious - could easily accommodate a larger group. Comfortable seating. Will definitely be back!“

“This is an oasis in the Dalla Fort Worth airport. Jennifer behind the bar was an absolute delight. Both knowledgable and friendly. My wife discovered the place after we had already eaten an overpriced hamburger, but we didn't make that mistake on the return trip. So glad it is there. Food was excellent and the wine was perfect (after some helpful guidance from Jennifer).“

“I was hungry for salmon and looked up a restaurant near me that had it. I'm not a local and this place game up on Google maps. I decided to give it a try.

The waiter informed me that their special for the day was rainbow trout from Colorado. I decided to give it a try with grilled vegetables and a salad.

It was delicious! And make sure to asked for the mixed vegetables to be grilled.“

“Farina’s Winery & Café in Granbury was the absolutely perfect atmosphere for hosting & kicking off our son’s Kelly & his bride Kat’s wedding celebration in style … the beautiful, old-world traditional setting in the Castle Room was marvelous - chandeliers, wooden doors from a French castle, gorgeous armoire and grand piano – truly lovely. The Italian buffet was sumptuous … and the servers - they were exceptional … a special thanks to Mel Madalone for her guidance in the planning, organization, set-up and her wonderful style … an amazing, beautiful evening!
