“Ling Wu is hands down our favorite dumpling spot in Austin and a place we never skip when we’re in town. The food is consistently excellent, and the experience as a whole keeps us coming back.
The soup dumplings never fail—perfectly made, full of flavor, and incredibly satisfying every single time. You can tell a lot of care goes into the menu, and it shows with every bite. On top of that, the specialty drinks are always a fun surprise, creative, well-balanced, and a great complement to the food.
What really elevates Ling Wu, though, is the staff. Team members like Jake are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, making the experience feel welcoming and personal rather than rushed or transactional.
If you’re visiting Austin and love dumplings, Ling Wu should absolutely be on your list. It’s a place we recommend without hesitation and one we’ll keep returning to.“

“🌺 Howz’it Hawaiian Grill is the hidden gem of Dripping Springs! Now at the 🍻 Dog and Bone Pub with live 🎶, it’s the perfect chill spot. The 🐖 Kalua Pork Plate with 🍚 rice (the true MVP!) is unforgettable, the 🍗 Huli Huli Chicken brings sweet heat, and the 🥔 tots + 🍝 mac salad are island-style perfection. Go once and you’ll be hooked—you’ll want to try the whole menu! 🌴😎“

“Just set up and cooking at this location. You may remember it from the backside of Sam's Town Point. Hankering for a fried chicken sandwich this popped up nearby on my search. Pleasantly surprised with a great sandwich, tots, and threw in a taco and I'm completely stuffed. I'd say it's text Mex - heavy on the Tex. Which is exactly what I was looking for! Definitely coming back to try the quesadilla and burger!“

“I asked when making my order if it came with egg rolls. And he said yes. But when I got home. No egg rolls. When I called to tell him. He started to raise his voice. I had to tell him to calm down and that it was his mistake. But he needed to calm down.“

“Tadashi is a solid sushi spot in our neighborhood, and it’s great to have a place like this nearby. This time, we ordered Salmon Fatty Nigiri, Ebi Nigiri, and Salmon Nigiri. The Toro Tuna was excellent—something that’s rare to find at this level in Austin. The other nigiri were also well-prepared and fresh.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have Sea Urchin Nigiri this time, which is usually one of our favorites. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a great post-movie stop, especially since it’s located in a plaza right by the theater. Reliable, high-quality sushi for the area, and definitely a go-to for a casual but well-executed sushi experience.“
