“The sushi here is very good, especially the uni and toro nigiri - each bite was fresh and melted in my mouth, showcasing the quality of the ingredients.
The udon was another highlight, with a flavorful broth and perfectly tender noodles that complemented the sushi experience.

“My husband and I have been dining at Cho since we dated, and while it's always been good, we had never received exceptional service as we did tonight. Our server, Chess, was very pleasant and made us feel like we were right at home. He was very attentive and customer-oriented. Thank you, Chess, for providing us with world-class service! We'll be back to see you!“

“Amazing food but spotty hours. If it’s a bit of a drive, I would suggest calling ahead. I’ve come by during “business” hours more than once and found them closed. The food keeps me coming back though.“

“I can’t believe how fresh and delicious the poke I got was. Probably the best I’ve had in Austin, could stand toe to toe with what I’ve had in Hawaii. Great service, huge selection of fresh ingredients, decent prices and portion sizes. I love to get smaller portions and the “skinny” was perfect!
Really the quickest healthiest option around. I’ll be back!
Vegetarian options: Can build your own vegetarian bowl!
Dietary restrictions: Easy to build something when you have a lot of food allergies or restrictions. They have gf, low-fodmap options, and ingredient lists for all their sauces.“

“DO NOT COME HERE FOR LUNCH IF you need to return to work anytime soon. Service is extremely slow. It took 1 minute to be seated, 35 minutes before I was asked for my order, another 20 minutes for the food to be served, plus 20 minutes to eat. Other than that, food here is AMAZING.“

“This place was a great find. In the same area as the Home Depot off 620. Staff are friendly. Food is amazing. Not the typical rolls you get at sushi places. I was skeptical at first, but they are simple and delicious! Sashimi had large portion sizes. I was very pleased. Definitely a place to try if you are into sushi like me.“

“Izumi Sushi is a solid choice for a casual meal. I tried their Boat A, which offered a nice variety, but the sushi wasn’t the best I’ve had—some pieces felt a bit lacking in flavor. However, the Chicken Teriyaki bento box was a standout; the chicken was tender and flavorful, paired nicely with rice, miso soup, and some other stuff. The udon noodles were also a highlight, with a delicious, hearty broth. While the sushi could use some improvement, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the bento and noodles definitely make it worth a visit.“
