“We’ve dined at The Local twice now and the food has really been delicious! The lemon ricotta pancakes are amazing. Service was a little slow, but we understand you are trying to get your feet under you being a new restaurant. Two suggestions: please add espresso drinks to your menu and a changing table in your bathroom for families with young children.“

“We were initially going to go somewhere else for lunch but decided to go here in the hopes of getting something light and healthy. The Well did not disappoint.My friend and I each had a mocktail: the Pillow Talk and the non-alcoholic version of The Elixir. The Pillow Talk was so pretty and had great flavor. I don't usually say that about food/drinks with rose, but it's true. The Elixir was fantastic. I was surprised by the dark color, but the flavor was really fresh.We then split the Salmon Tartare and Steak Sandwich. The tartare was very very good. It reminded me of lox with the onion and caper but had a fun Texas twist with jicama and avocado. The chips on the side were perfect for the dish too. The steak sandwich was good too. My only wish was for more of the veggies (arugula and tomato) on the sandwich.We sat at the bar and chatted with a couple of the employees. They were both attentive, friendly, and helpful as we made our choices. Their service alone makes me want to come back for more.Check this place out for a healthy, tasty meal!“

“Everything about Ronnie's was just wonderful! The setting is nestled in the hill country just outside 360 off Bee Cave Rd. The food was spectacular, my chicken was moist and cooked to perfection and my husband's fish dish was equally delicious. We were able to bring our own wine for only a $10 corkage fee. Love this restaurant! We'll definitely be back with more friends!“

Robin ( the owner) and his staff are amazing, always going the extra mile to please their patrons.Yesterday was my birthday, and Robin played the most amazing disco music that I have heard in a long time. “Hannah gave us an amazing first experience! walked us through the incredible menu and gave us fantastic suggestions. Besides the french toast and the chocolate cake, we had the society burger and the jalapeno chicken soup. the ingredients are like home cooking. chicken straight off the bone and cake like your grandpa makes.the vibe of the restaurant is chill while feeling upscale.brunch was awesome with great mimosas.parking in a huge, shopping center like lot makes it very accessible.we stopped here on the way out of town but we will definitely be coming back when we visit again.“

“We always love coming to Blind Salamander.the food is consistently good and the service is perfecto. I like a very very rare steak and few restaurants/chefs will prepare it like I like it, but Will (our server) made sure it was perfect. Marco, the manager is always friendly and makes sure we are treated well. When we are at Barton Creek, this is our number one stop.“

“Service was a little bit slow as it took over 15 minutes to get water after asking for 2 minutes to decide on a drink but water to start would be appreciated. The tables across from us had a different server, seated way after us, and had drinks on the table within minutes of being seated. The food is always excellent at Oasthouse. Unfortunately, my steak came out dull and room temperature. It clearly had been sitting for too long while waiting for my husband's pork dish to be ready. Our server was extra busy (I assume) as she didn't check in very often. Once we finally saw her, we let her know that my meal was cool to the touch. She admitted that she noticed it had been sitting for awhile before she brought it over. Manager came over and made things better with vouchers for our next two visits. The refired entree was much much warmer. We will be back since the mistake was handled well, and we understand these things happen when it's busy.“

“I'm visiting family again and this was a great stop. I love their appetizers - the hummus and the shishito peppers are amazing. And they will bring you more veggies and pita for the hummus if needed. I love their fall wedge salad, and their burgers look amazing! The server was great, and took very good care of us on their patio, turning on the heater for my granddaughter. The only disappointment was that they were out of Hefeweizen! The skinny margarita was delicious. Overall, a good experience!“

“This is owned we were told by the owners of Perry's Steakhouse. Three of us at there. Two had NY strips and one had Rib Eye. We all agreed some of best steaks we had ever had. Seating was more casual than Perry's but that was fine. Noise at front was fairly loud but calmer towards back. They have got a real winner at Carves. We will be back!“

“We went to the Grove at Lakeway for an early dinner. We had the good fortune to sit by the windows overlooking the Hill Country. Our Waiter was truly outstanding. He has waited on us several times in the last few months. I can describe him In two words “Contagious Enthusiasm”. My wife ordered the beet salad, and I ordered two appetizers. The eggplant tempera and fried oysters. This meal was wonderful. This made for an enjoyable afternoon. We will definitely be back as this is now our “Go To” place in Lakeway.“

I had the Tito’s Lavender Lemonade and it will be my summer go to drink, so delicious!! But you can’t go wrong with the Hefeweizen! Love their daily specials and huge beer offerings as well.
