“It was my first time axe throwing and I didn’t expect to have so much fun. I was always worried about my luck that the axe would bounce back at me like a boomerang, but I’m still here with all my limbs despite the bad throws. Our instructor Brittany was pretty awesome and patient with us. I had a group of 8 and more than half had never thrown an axe, but towards the end of our game, we got better. If it wasn’t for the heavy rain rolling in, we’d probably play for an additional hour bc time went by pretty fast from all the fun!“

It tasted more of soda than tequila but a refreshing drink nonetheless during a hot day. The live music upstairs was amazing and really set the tone for a fun food, music, and cultural festival. I look forward to coming back to Lulu's for their free salsa and bachata lessons on Sundays.“

“Yesterday, Sat. May 20,2023 we celebrated my wife Nicki turning 70. The level of customer service was outstanding. We had 70 people on the patio. The buffet style food set up, drink station, desert table was fantastic and efficient. All the food was excellent. They had a microphone available for us to use when talking to the whole group. Many favorable comments from our guests. Special shout out to Shelby, the cake lady!! The cake and cupcakes were super and were set up in attractive display. Britany was our head server. She and her staff worked hard and efficiently, catering to our guests requests/needs. I would highly recommend the Lighthouse to anyone for occasions like this. During the planning for the party I had many questions/requests. They were all met with "sure you can do that" or "we can do that". Robin and Samantha made their experience and expertise readily available to me at all times. It was a great help and much appreciated. The "happy birthday Nicki" display atop the lighthouse visible from the parking lot was a really cool. Robin and Samantha and their entire staff made this the special occasion that I wanted it to be. I am glad I chose the Lighthouse for this special occasion.“

The air is filled with the aroma of botanicals and maybe a hint of the neighbors yellow lab puppy wandering in. You're greeted at Revolution Spirits by true creatives eager to introduce you to their craft. But before you explore the distillery, let's start with what brought you here - the gin! This is not your average gin, but a liquid masterpiece that has been carefully distilled with a blend of juniper, ROSEMARY, lavender, lemongrass, and Texas grapefruit.Don’t leave without a bottle* of La Dama. ??*or two“

“Took my friend here for bday dinner, and it was phenomenal! The owner, J5, brought us our drinks and took the time to speak with us and get to know us and share his family with us.Their grapefruit mocktail was DELICIOUS!! We ordered the firecracker shrimp appetizer, and it was more than enough to share for 2 people. There were at least 14 pieces of shrimp, maybe more. The flavor was excellent, just a little kick of heat but not enough to set your mouth on fire. Then we both ordered the potato soup. All I can say is ???. Perfectly creamy, salty, cheesy! I ordered the salmon and asparagus with the lump crab topper, and it was perfectly cooked. Not too buttery, just enough. The asparagus was fire!! My friend ordered cheeseburger and fries and was equally pleased. We loved the indoor/outdoor dining experience. We sat at an indoor table but got the benefit of the outdoor ambiance. We left the restaurant talking about how we couldn't wait to go back! It was worth the drive (I came from Lago Vista, and my friend lives in Lakeway). 10/10 recommend.“

“Lustre Pearl South was an amazing and accommodating location for my 50th birthday party! They have a beautiful separate event space with its own bar, restrooms, dance floor complete with disco ball, and sound system. Not only is the space private and well laid out, it is also elegant and well decorated. The space easily held our 80 party guests and provided plenty of seating, as well as room for dancing and socializing. It even opens onto a patio/deck, where there is outdoor seating. And what can I say about the staff? The manager was incredibly gracious and helpful from day one. The staff provided a thorough tour of the space, very reasonable pricing to rent it out compared to similar venues nearby, and bar staff for the night of the party. They went out of their ways to make sure the space was spotlessly clean, the sound system was working perfectly, and that we had everything we needed. They simply couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough for hosting parties and social events. We will definitely be back! What a great experience.“

Like they got to the bottom of the rice cooker and gave me the drabs that were left at the bottom. Disappointing. The edamame was good. Sushi was good. Chicken katsu was ok-good... But Something missing can't quit place my finger on what. Tempura was above average. Agedashi tofu was flavourful. I liked the tofu actually....My friend had the bowl.. with grilled chicken teriyaki. Something in her bowl was extreeeeeemely salty. To the point where she had to ask for extra rice to try to make it edible. Now, her extra rice came out looking nice and plump and soft unlike my rice in the Bento Box I ordered. It's just almost sacrilege for a Japanese/ Asian restaurant to serve rice that's not right. Will try again again to see if I need to increase or further decrease the stars on this review.“

The tables across from us had a different server, seated way after us, and had drinks on the table within minutes of being seated. The food is always excellent at Oasthouse. Unfortunately, my steak came out dull and room temperature. It clearly had been sitting for too long while waiting for my husband's pork dish to be ready. Our server was extra busy (I assume) as she didn't check in very often. Once we finally saw her, we let her know that my meal was cool to the touch. She admitted that she noticed it had been sitting for awhile before she brought it over. Manager came over and made things better with vouchers for our next two visits. “I recommend the food. Service was ok- though not a very knowledgeable staff. We came here based on their whiskey list on their website, and after trying to order, we asked for four different bourbons, the server would leave to ask the bar, and took him roughly ten minutes each time to then return with a “we don’t have that”. The bartender came out to our table finally and asked us what we wanted to spend “on a shot of whiskey? $50 or $10?” Seriously? You guys brag on your own website that you have over 300 whiskeys (you don’t- please update your list- it’ll save customers’ time and prevent your servers from running back and forth to the bar for 40 minutes) and then we kinda get treated rudely. #1) what we were asking for from their list aren’t bourbons that should be treated as “shots” and #2) you shouldn’t insult your customers for asking for things listed on your own website. She said they had Little Book- I asked which chapter- she didn’t know, but told me it was an $18 pour. I said sure- I’ll take it. I was charged $30. Not big deal, just felt lied to, on top of everything. We’d arrived at 5pm. Didn’t get out of there until 8pm. Won’t return, but their food was good.“

I was like woah no no no we have been here since 4:43pm.Thank God we had the text from our table wait app to show him what time we were seated:He even looked shocked at what time it was and he said “oh wow hang on”.At that point, I thought he was probably just gonna take it off of our bill and be sweet but he just came back and lowered the price of the bill and said that he had “talked to his manager and was allowed to do it “lolDuhhhhh!of course you’re allowed to do it.We were there before five bro:I would never go during happy hour again:I don’t even drink and have not in 6 years .I think it’s an Austin icon and this one is better by farrrr then any other location as far as food:If they lose this chef I’m afraid the place will be garbage. Please keep him (or her or them )because that’s all you got going for you:Kid-friendliness: They have a coloring packet : but nothing for kids to realllly keep them entertained . But it’s a restaurant : kids don’t need to be worried about long term hangout. They would do well to install a playscape outside :They would get all the parents and make tons of money in sure:But that’s a lot I’m sure:We just have to go to cruddy old docs for their playground and we don’t like their food at all at Docs:Would be cool if they could get a few things for 6-10 year olds .“
