“Thankyou to the kind staff for helping with my sugar issues. I was waiting in the to go orders and a staff member I think a manager saw me and asked if I needed any help. I asked for a tea or lemonade as I was shaking. The staff wete kind and helped my shakes stop and even made sire I got to my car safely.“

“The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“A small shop at the back of a convenience store with limited seating on the other side of the store. The gentleman (Tino?) working was very friendly and pulled together the order fast. Servings were stout and tasty, which I was very grateful for. My friend got standard breakfast tacos. I ordered the gordita with pastor spilling out the sides. They were out of barbacoa. Good stuff.“

“Sara was amazing! I never would have guessed it was her first week if she hadn’t told me. I actually left the South Congress location and came to the William Cannon location, and Sara completely changed my perspective on Chuy’s. Before this visit, I wasn’t a fan, but her friendly attitude, great service, and positive energy made all the difference. She was attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect. Thanks to Sara, I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“we were at the hwy 290 location in Austin I found my new favorite restaurant! Our server (James) was outstanding, the food was fabulous and the chips & salsa was so good the 6 of us each ate a basket of chips and had several refills on salsa! The Enchiladas were so flavorful with the fire roasted Verde sauce.....highly recommend“

“Holy Cow! Brisket at Switch Barbeque in Dripping Springs is some of the best you will have in Texas. The chopped beef sandwich is a generous portion. tithe potato salad is so creamy and tasty you need to make sure you get it. Burnt Ends! These are not covered up with some sugary stuff to make them taste good. They are stand alone. Our waiter Barry was outstanding and the beer is served in frozen mugs. Can you get better than that? It would be difficult.“

“All in all what a great atmosphere. Even with all the chaos of tons of people. Everyone was still smiling and making sure we were taken care of. It was packed and we only had a 15 minute wait. Everyone was on it from the greeter, cleaning tables and servers. I'm only giving a 4 star for the food because I was a little disappointed 😞 with the rice. The taste was good but the texture was off, it seemed that the rice was dry and not in the water long enough. But everything else was superb.
I would definitely recommend their enchiladas.“

“Maudies has been a local Austin restaurant for as long as I can remember. The food can be a little inconsistent depending on what you order. I love their tortilla soup, though every now and then it’s a bit watery. Other than that, everything is usually pretty good. The Mexican martinis are on point, and I really like the location off of 360.“

“Working with Staci and her team was an absolute breeze. The tacos were delicious. The team were so accommodating throughout the wedding planning process. Communication was fluent. “Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.“

After a long day at work Thursday, I decided not to cook, so my daughter and I stopped by Freebirds for dinner. We arrived about five minutes before closing, and the manager and staff couldn’t have been nicer.
They were already starting to close down for the night, but they welcomed us in, took care of us, and never made us feel rushed or like we were an inconvenience.
The food was great, but the kindness and customer service stood out even more. I really appreciated the way the team treated us, especially at the end of a long night for them.
Thank you to the manager and staff for taking such good care of us.“

“Its a fantastic place to celebrate special occasions and bring your visiting family members and friends for a memorable view in Austin. The menu is limited and not to the mark. The sunsets are gorgeous. Make sure to come early during weekends as it can get really busy. One of the must to do in Austin“

“I had the pork belly tacos, they were incredible. Finely chopped into small cubes, some had a meaty rich texture and some were perfectly crunchy. The bacon jam added a smoky BBQ flavor and a moistness bringing it all together.
Wife had the green chili Mac and Cheese with added crispy chicken. It was creamy and flavorful. Without the chicken it might have been disappointing due to the seemingly low amount of sausage, but with it the protein and crispy bits were perfectly balanced.
Kid had chicken tenders and to our surprise, they were hand breaded. A bit steep at $10, but made up for in quality.
The service was great once we got in, may drink refills, food in quick time, nice server. However, it seems they pull the host to help tidy up the front of the house and we stood for several minutes waiting for anyone to come to the host stand. Not a deal breaker, but you might be awkwardly standing for a few minutes.“
