“Food is always amazing, staff is beyond friendly! My waiter even offered to put my spicy seasoning on the side because my spice tolerance is low 😂
My one and only complaint is that the place could really use a deep clean.. The tables are sometimes sticky and you can see smudges of people's hands on some of the walls and booth boards.“

“The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“we were at the hwy 290 location in Austin I found my new favorite restaurant! Our server (James) was outstanding, the food was fabulous and the chips & salsa was so good the 6 of us each ate a basket of chips and had several refills on salsa! The Enchiladas were so flavorful with the fire roasted Verde sauce.....highly recommend“

“A small shop at the back of a convenience store with limited seating on the other side of the store. The gentleman (Tino?) working was very friendly and pulled together the order fast. Servings were stout and tasty, which I was very grateful for. My friend got standard breakfast tacos. I ordered the gordita with pastor spilling out the sides. They were out of barbacoa. Good stuff.“

“We just had a graduation Party there. Eric P was excellent in assisting my wife with menus, food amounts and overall logistics. The Room upstairs accommodated 50 people easily and there was elevator access. The good was absolutely delicious and our Bartender Patty was amazing! Our family can not thank the Maudies family enough for an incredible event!! It was an amazing time had by all!!!! Thank you!“

“All in all what a great atmosphere. Even with all the chaos of tons of people. Everyone was still smiling and making sure we were taken care of. It was packed and we only had a 15 minute wait. Everyone was on it from the greeter, cleaning tables and servers. I'm only giving a 4 star for the food because I was a little disappointed 😞 with the rice. The taste was good but the texture was off, it seemed that the rice was dry and not in the water long enough. But everything else was superb.

I actually left the South Congress location and came to the William Cannon location, and Sara completely changed my perspective on Chuy’s. Before this visit, I wasn’t a fan, but her friendly attitude, great service, and positive energy made all the difference. She was attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect. “Holy Cow! Brisket at Switch Barbeque in Dripping Springs is some of the best you will have in Texas. The chopped beef sandwich is a generous portion. tithe potato salad is so creamy and tasty you need to make sure you get it. Burnt Ends! These are not covered up with some sugary stuff to make them taste good. They are stand alone. Our waiter Barry was outstanding and the beer is served in frozen mugs. Can you get better than that? It would be difficult.“

“I visited Torchys today and got the new “Taco Two Step” promotion. I got the Trailer park extra trashy and it was delightful. I do have give some Kudos to “Tim” for helping me navigate through the new deal and making sure we were properly taken care of. Even when busy with his working/closing tasks, we were still able to get chips and our order in a knick of time. This was my first time at this establishment and I will be coming back again.“

“Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.“
