“The brisket was ridiculously tender, seasoned just right, and you don’t even need sauce (but the sauce is still good). Portions are generous, the sides actually hit(that mac and cheese??). Not cheap, but 100% worth it.“

“Came all the way from California to visit friends in Texas. I love me some BBQ so they took us to Papa Jacks. The food was outstanding best BBQ I ever had. The Brisket and pulled pork was the best. Family run and it was like going to a family reunion. They treat you like family.“

“Took a detour from the Austin to Dallas drive to check this place out, super friendly service and GREAT food!! The wagyu beef ribs were unreal and the banana pudding was the best I’ve ever had. I wish the portion size for the meat would’ve been a little bigger but the portion size of the sides was more than enough.“

“Wow. It was so good! I have seen Roni's Facebook videos so much and have ALWAYS wanted to try it. I stayed in Albuquerque last night and was perusing through GH and lo and behold...RONI'S showed up! I went relatively basic; Cheddar n Gouda (extra), Brisket, Mushrooms. I almost got breadcrumbs but didn't pull the trigger on that one. They sent regular garlic bread instead of cheesy garlic bread but I couldn't bring myself to complain because it truly was so good, I didn't want to waste my stomach space on bread instead of the mac. The next closest one to us is in Missouri (4 hours away) so it will be a while. But I can not wait to have it again! My sister in law lives in southern Alabama and I have officially informed her of the Auburn location and of my life changing mac experience! 10/10 recommend. PLEASE COME TO CHAMPAIGN-URBANA, ILLINOIS!!!“

“Maybe not the absolute best bbq in Texas, but consistently very good and keeps me a loyal customer. Price-wise, bbq has gotten very pricey, with many places charging $12-15 and higher, for a brisket sandwich, so Rudy's remains on the affordable side. If you have a choice, between the big tourist trap gas station and Rudy's, bypass the beaver and keep going for BBQ that actually tastes good.“

“These folks know how to do Q. They came to PCCPA to cater to our lunch. They served BBQ stuffed baked potatoes with everything except the kitchen sink. It was better than anything in Waco. I also want to thank Katie, who made it all possible.“

“Just went back today after our previous bad experience. It was great. Ribeye tender and juicy. Owner definitely takes care of his customers if aren’t happy with your experience. We’d definitely recommend it“
