“I have eaten at Tejun several times. I always enjoy the food. Only issue I have is the butter to corn on the cob ratio. Now I loooove butter. But I don't want it running through my veins. I usually get the boiled shrimp, which is always excellent and the potatoes are perfectly cooked, good butter to potato ratio there.👍 Spices are 👌, not too overwhelming so I can still taste the flavor of the food. Except the corn.“

Today I ordered the gumbo $13, and it’s equally amazing! Their portion sizes are great, food is consistently delicious, and the service is fast. Definitely a great place for good Cajun cuisine in Waco, located amongst the many great restaurants/food vendors in Union Hall.“

“The tent is much bigger this year, so more tables are covered. The staff is efficient which is important to pull this off. I like it that you buy tickets now so you're not holding up the line while you decide what you want. The bugs were fantastic! I thought the shrimp was a little over cooked, but everyone else at the table loved it. This is always one of our favorite crawfish events.“
