“This is a drive up and walk up to the window place. The food is amazing, especially the fat ernie breakfast burrito!! Just a heads up, it comes with a lot of potatoes, so if you do not like Taters, ask them to take them off. They are so kind and quick, food is always fresh!!

Parking: The parking lot is on a busy street and fits about 5-8 cars depending on the machine shop next door.“

“I went for brunch and the menu is limited but there is a great variety of food to choose from.
My waitress was very attentive and friendly and the view of Belton Lake is always relaxing. I was seated at a table close to the burning fireplace, which added an even nicer touch to my visit.

Dietary restrictions: There were non dairy and gluten free items available on the menu. Also the option of grilled seafood was available.

Parking: The parking lot has ample parking for handicap and motorcycles.

“I don’t eat meat so it’s hard to find good food that I can actually enjoy but baby when I tell you the Cotton Patch in Temple Mall did not disappoint I mean just that. I had the best and I do mean the absolute best fried mushrooms that I have ever had. They also have an all vegetarian meal on the menu. My husband had the chicken fried steak meal and it was cooked beautifully. The chef came out and greeted us and our waitress was a pure delight. If you ever have the chance and just need some good comfort food this is just the place. Thanks for your awesome service .“

“Found this place by accident when I took a side by accident. Wife and tried the blackened tilapia and grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. Both were very good and the waitress was very friendly. Definitely will go again when passing through Salado.“

“First time to eat at this restaurant. We were a party of nine and the service was excellent. The wait person was meticulous in taking our order. She gave us just the right amount time to review the menu. The food was served in a timely fashion. Nine people, nine different entrees and no one complained. Highly recommend this restaurant“

“This is the second time I've come here and it's a great place to meet up with friends. Breakfast for lunch is my favorite and the biscuits and gravy did not disappoint. Come try this place and you will keep coming back.“

“The store shares the same space with a Dry Cleaners business, so don't let it fool you. Excellent and economical. The lady who took our order, Julia, was so kind, friendly and welcoming. Just call to make sure the the menu item you want to order is available. Make it worth your trip if traveling more than 30 min because food is good and if you buy more than you can eat it’s easy to freeze for another day. Tortellini chicken alfredo and zucchini/squash medley is tasty. Green beans were nicely seasoned. The King Ranch has tones of an enchilada casserole, so next time I’m gonna make my Spanish rice and beans for sides. Rock on secret Chef!!“

Then to my surprise we were in The Pin House & when we looked @ our time clock we had 3 hours to bowl!! 😳 The staff welcomed us in with complimentary football cookies! 🍪 🏈 The drinks were extra yummy & the food was deliciousness!! 😋 Needless to say we had a freaking blast!! 🎳Lee got his first 🦃 & then a bit later I got my first 🦃 too! Great way to enjoy this Sunday & appreciate my hubby for everything he does for us 🥰 🥰“

“We waited longer than we should’ve and started to walk out but we decided to see if the hostess would eventually show up this year. They were not crowded at all but I knew the other steakhouse would be. Employees kept looking at us at the entrance but no one came over to seat us. I am glad we waited. I’m a patient woman. I enjoy fishing so I get plenty of practice. The hostess needs a better attitude and personality. The waitress Ash was awesome and made up for what the hostess lacked. Ash is one of the best servers we’ve encountered anywhere in a long time…and that’s shameful. The food was well seasoned. My daughter’s steak and lobster tail were on the small side but she said it was delicious including her asparagus that were cooked perfectly so she felt it was worth it. My steak and broccoli were seasoned and cooked nice. They definitely know what a medium steak looks like. Cudos to the cook(s). Again, Ashley was outstanding!!! We DEFINITELY will be returning and hopefully have her as our server again. The bill was almost a hun for the two of us and that’s without dessert but we felt it was worth it. It was so nice my daughter tipped 3% and that’s a lot for that frugal lady. I’m normally the big tipper that she complains about but I was pleasantly surprised today. This visit was nothing like the location in Killeen before they closed down that we swore never to return. I’m glad we waited on the young, slow hostess. An attractive curly haired server wished us good evening as we left. I told my daughter she should’ve asked him for his number lol We enjoyed our meal and the movies afterwards. It was a blessed and pleasant Sunday for us. If you go to this location, ask for Ash. She adds to the experience.“

“We planned a surprise party for about 22 people. The wait staff did an amazing job keeping up with all of our needs. Our drinks were never empty and the food was punctual. Chef John made us feel incredibly important, and his food was delicious. But his New York style cheese cake and his key lime cheese cake were exquisite! The perfect finishing touch to a fabulous time.“

“We went for my daughter's birthday today. I had portobello smothered chicken, my daughter had half rack of ribs and my bff had 6 oz sirloin. All food was great, staff was super friendly and checked in us regularly. And we didn't have to wait long to get a table.“

“The place is a good place but the food takes a little time to be served but that is just Chilis as they make it all fresh. It is on the highway so usually people are in a hurry. But the server was good and attentive.

“I ate my free Veterans Day meal here. The steak was amazing. Very tender. They do offer steak sauce, but I wouldn't ruin that steak by adding anything to it. The rest of the meal was also great. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
