“I have lived in Copperas Cove since 1995 and have eaten at Lil' Tex multiple times. Every time, I walk away satisfied, full, and with a deeper sense of community by supporting local business. The staff is experienced. The portions are extremely generous. The prices of menu items are just right. I hope they stay in business for many more years to come.“

“Listen I didn’t make it out the parking lot. I ate my entire plate in the parking lot. This food so good yall. I taste the entire state of Louisiana in that food. Everything so flavorful and good. The best Philly I’ve had in Texas. No lie.“

Vegetarian options: Did not look at the entire menu. I am a veteran, and I had the steak.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, i took my 77 yr old veteran and had no issues with his wheel chair.“

“I was pleasantly surprised. I had never eaten here before. I've eaten here twice. The first time the tender meal was fresh and hot. Second time I had to wait for tenders to cook and when I got the meal, the fries were cold and tasted old.
The drive thru was a bit confusing because its not your typical "pull up to the window". They come out to you. You never go to the window.“

“Man! The food was so good I almost passed out at the table like it was Thanksgiving or something! This is one of my favorite places for fried chicken. The chicken is flavorful and somehow not greasy. My favorite is the chicken tender meals with fries and coleslaw. And just go ahead and get the gallon of sweet iced tea, trust me. ?“

“My cousin invited me here to celebrate my birthday, Friday night. The food was so good. (I ordered wings to go and a personal Margherita pizza).
The woman at the front desk was super sweet and pleasant. Two bar tenders helped me & I wish I'd gotten their names. Both gentlemen were extremely patient & informative. I loved how laid back everyone was. Karaoke was a nice touch.

“This place caught me walking out of Walmart so I wasn’t even there to try their food I was there doing shopping??♀️I seen the picture of their ghost pepper burger and walked into the eating area with my wagon. I ordered that burger which was $10.99 and the onion rings which were 4-5.99. So about $15.00 for a meal. I will say that’s expensive but I’m always willing to-see if it’s worth it. It was!!the burger was nice&moist, cheesy, and the jalapeños were on point. Every bite flowed and every bite was melting in my mouth!! So definitely got me! When I opened my wrapper I was expecting the burger to be a little bit bigger but I guess it was all in the taste!! Will be going back to try their other stuff on the menu. The signature brownie shake was on point as well. I ordered 2 of them for my kids to try and they loved it!!“
