“I ate dinner there for first time Saturday night. The Chicken Fried Steak was one on the best I have ever eaten. The mash potatoes, corn, green beans, and Brownie were all Granny Cooking good. The people were so nice it was like being at Granny’s house. That gravy just doesn’t happen, that’s old school.“

“my family and I love H&E ! We’ve brought family from all over to eat here and enjoy the nice and lowkey atmosphere. We love how they are expanding, & bringing life back to copperas cove. “Applebee’s in Copperas Cove is and will forever be my favorite dining establishment! The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff always make you feel like Family! Dave and the rest of the Management are always on the floor and attending to customers or helping the staff. Whether I’m having dinner with the family or sitting at the bar enjoying a wonderful drink and company, I’m never disappointed! Definitely the BEST place to eat in

“Went many times and was told they had no chicken fried steak. This place has really turned around last month or so. Have not been told no chicken fried steak. Food quality very good.staff friendly. Only negative I can say the front door needs cleaned, but I do highly recommend“

“Listen. The food is good. Is it expensive? I don’t know, my husband always pays. Is it legitimately good? Yes. Order anything at all and dip it in their house made Jalapeno ranch. You will not regret it. It’s a family friendly restaurant until like 9pm then it’s a proper bar. Pet friendly all the time. Karaoke on the weekends, a good mix of 20-30-40 year old crowd. I never feel like the oldest person here even though I am old, but the young people are also here having a good time. Good pool tables and friendly regulars. Every single bartender/staff is an absolute gem. I’ve never been a bar person, but Jokers has become our date night spot. One of the few things I’m going to miss about Killeen when we move. The music is a *little* loud on weekends but as I said, I am a late 30s old person.“
