“This place was amazing , we got two ramens and one my husband didn’t like and they fixed it no problem ! Just replaced it with another and was super sweet about it and of course very welcoming when we walked in. The ramen is 10 outta 10 everytime we come, if you want some good ramen, spicy or non spicy then you need to come here! The pork or beef buns are super good too we get those everytime we come. Next time we are trying the poke bowls!“

“We’ve been wanting to try this place and it was a great experience, from the Asian decor to the welcoming atmosphere to the food. We got the Shumai to start off and it was pretty good. I suggest having the sauce on the side if you’re not into really spicy things. My friend got the beef bowl and it was delish. The beef was perfectly seasoned and the sauce had a great flavor. You don’t get much protein, so next time he wants to order it with extra meat. I got the west side Ramen which was yummy. The broth was ok, but the noodles were good and plenty. I got the pork loin since I always get the pork belly, so it wasn’t as flavorful. Overall it was good, but I’ve had better. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area and/or want to eat good food.“

The owner always remembers a special dietary request i made some years ago He even made a special trip to the store (when I first asked about a GF item, which has hopefully been benefitto others). “Went for my sisters birthday with the whole family today. The food was wonderful and the staff was even better! They were very attentive to my older parents and even offered us to pull the car to the side exit when we were done to avoid the steps at the front for them. The chef was incredible and was so great with my young niece! He was extremely interactive and funny and it made for a wonderful family experience. The food was perfect and the wait staff was wonderful as well. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“I love this place as my LOCAL venue for sushi, Asian food, and cocktails/sake. They have a great variety of rolls with tons of flavors mixed in in different ways. The nigiri is very fresh, and they have a multitude of options. The kitchen food is pretty good, not their best feature, but it will shut the mouths of those that don’t want sushi. They also have some pretty wild options for appetizers. The drinks are good, and the selection is pretty huge. Service is always professional, and one time it was exceptional. Please bring a few $’s for the sushi line as well.

Prices are high. Not even hiding that. Actually, if you walk away from under $100 after a good meal and drinks, you are doing great. The rolls are huge, but you definitely want more variety when you see the menu. Drinks are delicious l, but small. So, when you get to ordering a small appetizer, a couple rolls, obviously a couple sashimi, a couple drinks, sake for the main course, and anything else that I am missing, it will easily come out to about $70ish. Service is always worth it there, so add in a 25% tip, you’re right there at $100. However, this isn’t a complaint. With the way the economy is, and how crazy inflation is going, this is usual. BUT! Sushi Axiom actually has a good product to back it up. Just be sure that you aren’t thinking of a cheap dinner.

In sum: the people are top notch, the food is way above par, the prices are what they are, the drinks are better than expected, and the sushi is fresh and offers a great variety.

“Been a life long fan and have supported Sushi Axiom for years. Today after Bass Hall we decided it was drinks and maybe an appetizer. Arrived 9:20 and were greeted with a “you gotta be kidding me” face and told the kitchen closed at 9. Asked if we could do drinks at the bar, she proceeded to say the bar closed at 9:30. The door clearly says it’s open till 10pm. I own a restaurant myself and if anyone ever did that to my patrons it would be their last day. You’re open until the hours you advertise, or change your hours. Disrespectful and conveniently misleading. I will think twice as there many sushi options for our next sushi visit.“

“I always loved this place. They are open late and their food is really good. I prefer their hibachi options over their sushi, but both are decent.

Their hibachi was my go-to late night food when I was living in Fort Worth. The chicken and steak were both delicious, the sauce was flavorful and great, the vegetables were fresh and tasty, the ginger salad was awesome, and so on. I really loved their hibachi!

The biggest issue I have with them is the service(?). They are open super late for pick-up and delivery, but their system needs serious fixing. The phones don’t work oftentimes, and delivery services oftentimes have their hours wrong, so even though they are open and taking orders, it can be IMPOSSIBLE to actually place an order. This issue SERIOUSLY needs to be fixed. Their hours are listed correctly on the site and sometimes you can find a loophole in the system to place your order, but oftentimes, I needed to go in person and make the order there, despite other times where the system works and I can place a delivery/pick-up order just fine. It started happening nearly every time I tried to order, so I started just passing them up. They REALLY need to fix this.

Atmosphere-wise, I love it! It is a relaxed, casual energy and is a fun place to stop in to. The location is perfect — right in downtown Fort Worth, so a great place to go on a night out when you need some food. The decor is simple but fitting and the place feels trendy and cool!

They really need to look into fixing their online ordering system and their phones. It just was getting too inconsistent and frustrating.“
