The simple old decor is part of the charm as you focus on no nonsense eating. The jalapeno, onion and bread sides were perfect fixings to go with the bbq sampler plate we got.”

“These are the most amazing tacos I have had. I left Northwest Arkansas and came down to Austin and had many tacos, from many spots along the way. These were the best! We drove over an hour the next day back to the Taqueria for some more!! Must try, if you haven't. The watermelon agua fresca was amazing as well.

“What a wonderful surprise! Don’t let the neighborhood keep you away. I had the gyro plate and the meat was so tender I cut it with my plastic fork…like butter. It was delicious. The hummus was great as well as the chicken kabob. I especially loved that it is family owned and run. A very special place. We will be back.”
