“I stopped in while traveling through and had the pattie melt. It was AMAZING. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The patty was juicy, nicely medium, fries were hot and crunchy! I was there around 2 for lunch and it was pretty quiet, but the staff were casual and friendly, taking turns offering me assistance. The ambiance is very casual and comfortable. Plenty of big plasma screens if that's your thing. Overall GREAT experience, I'd definitely come here again!“

“Sam’s Bar is just what I was looking for on this Sunday. I watched football, the beer was ice cold, plenty of food options at The Union, and they even have a patio where my dog could hang. I mean what else could you ask for? This Sam guy knows what’s up!“

“This is a good place for a good meal regardless if it's lunch or dinner. Good music, not to loud, plenty of room to walk and get around. I can't stand a restaurant that makes you feel like your not able to move or get out quick if need be.Salty dog has people of all sorts, super dressed up or just plain tshirts and jeans. The only reason I gave a 4 star on service is because there was only 1 waitress, she was super nice and handled things well for it to just be her. Food was VERY good! They also have beverages of just about any kind. ?“

“Being from Waco, I’m not sure what took us so long to hear about this spot. The food and drinks were amazing. Tyler took care of us and it was the best service we’ve received, EVER! He was a rockstar. After a few drinks, we made our way outside and enjoyed a cigar while taking in the amazing view out back. Cozy inside and out. We will definitely be back!“

“I would describe the crowd as late 20s to early 30s and everything that goes along with that. People were friendly, there was a good crowd without being overly crowded. There are several areas with different things going on. Karaoke, music/bands, outside; I enjoyed the atmosphere.“
