“Got a Togo order tonight. My husband and I don’t come often but it is down the road, so we decided to get it! Alexia was the Togo girl, she was great, she made sure my food was correct! We ordered a chicken quesadilla and the pork belly tossed in the jalopeno jelly! Food was hot and fresh. Definitely will be coming back, I’ll definitely be missing her since she’s about to go on maternity leave!“

“We had the catered brisket dinners for our wedding rehearsal dinner recently and it was absolutely delicious! The driver was prompt and courteous as well. The groom requested Old Orange Cafe bread pudding with rum sauce for his cake. It was a huge hit!! I highly recommend Chef David and Old Orange to cater your next event. We couldn’t be happier!“

“We went to eat at Peggy’s Place today to try out their burgers. I typically don't order burgers because I just think there are way better things I could eat. However, the burgers at Peggy's are PHENOMENAL. You need a big appetite to eat one by yourself, so I suggest splitting one if you're not starving. Sourdough buns, fresh thick patties, delicious house made sauce, and tons of topping options. They have unique hours so check to make sure they are open before you go. It's 100% worth it. It is a one woman show most days, so please be patient with her. She waits the tables, cooks, cleans, and is the cashier. We will absolutely be back.“

“Came in today after my workout. It’s been several years since my last visit. And the young lady was exceptionally kind. I ordered salt and pepper catfish strips and shrimp, she brought it out HOT and fresh. Smile from entering till my food being served. Service means everything to me. I’m a Port Arthur resident and it’s many places to dine. But this meant a lot to me today. I will return to try the grilled menu in the future. Thanks for being kind in a world of busyness. “Excellent food!! The daily lunch specials are delicious! The chicken & sausage gumbo is a personal favorite! The 1855 steaks and boudin in the meat case are top tier. The staff is also great; always efficient, happy and polite. I'm excited to try their boiled crawfish during crawfish season! Can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to everyone. Do yourself a favor and stop by for lunch, stock up your fridge or freezer or book them to cater your next special event!“
