I sampled quite a few things to include the etouffee, grilled oysters, potato salad, corn maque choux, but I only have a picture of a few items. You will be kissing the chef at this restaurant. I would recommend this establishment and will come back again.“

“Last week I tried this place for the first time. Our servers name was Bree. Bree was kind, not rushed, helpful, sincere, and polite. Her service made the experience better and the place was already nice. The food was yummy, I had the fried shrimp. Delicious - tasted like shrimp. What's that mean? Most the time at other places I simply taste breading - but not the shrimpies I had at Walk-On's, those are fantastic.Thanks again, Bree!“
“I took my fiancé for his first visit! I could not believe how delicious the shrimp and grits are! I paired mine with the bowl of fruit, which isn't in season right now and tasted less ripe than I desired, it's February, so I'll try the fruit again in the summer. He had a cuban sandwich which he doesn't like mayo, but other than that said it was perfect. He complimented that the balance between the meats and veggies and crunch on the bread made for a delicious sandwich. His was paired with French fries. We both had their sweet tea with lemon and they have the best in town. It isn't overly sweet, and has a great tea flavor. To finish off our meal we shared the bread pudding with rum butter sauce. Fantastic!! No raisins or nuts, just simple and plain, toasty on top, moist bread pudding, and the sweet sauce tops it off so perfectly, which is why I give Old Orange Cafe an all 5 Star rating!“
“Finally had the opportunity to go to Tia Juanita's in Port Arthur last evening. We were seated quickly, offered watered promptly and given a chance to order. There is so very much to chose from so it took a while! ?. Once orders were made, it did take a few, but this was understood since the restaurant was full. We ordered the boudain balls which was really a treat. Our food came shortly after and my what a presentation. I ordered the Trio Tacos, blackened and they were amazing! My friends dishes were just as appealing. Although quite filled, we shared a bread pudding, my friend insisted. Pleasant evening, great food/service was enjoyed. The only issue was as the evening wore on the music was turned up quite a bit, which made it difficult to hear one another. Otherwise everything else was perfect...“
“Last night I was one of the last customers in line, arriving 15 mins before closing time. As usual the line was wrapped around the building, so I waited. I set out on a journey just to come to this spot for dinner for my bf and I. It's about an hour round trip. (Worth it.) My bf and I love the Pitmaster so I ordered each of us a sliced brisket sandwich and a side of potato salad and baked beans. I rush home so dinner will be waiting for him when he returns home, he's been working late and long hours I wanted to surprise him. I can hardly wait to eat mine, it smelled so delicious on the ride back home. I'm diabetic so I decided to go ahead and eat before it got much later, so I open the brown bag to pull out the baked beans and brisket sandwich and what I saw was potato salad and a turkey sandwich with pickles and onions. I do not prefer either so I just took them off and had no choice but to eat it. Everything is closed. I'm starving. Exhausted. And still had to make yet another trip into town to get something else for my bf to eat. DQ Steak basket is nowhere near equivalent but what can you do, everything is closed up for the nightI have now spent $40 and an hour and a half drive time to get him dinner. He was happy to have food, nonetheless. He chose to eat the potato salad with his DQ, so I handed him the large container and as he dove into it with his spoon he says, this is no potato salad, it's banana pudding!! ? His favorite. Almost* like grandma's! He loved it. So in the end, y'all still saved the day! Lol He says kudos to who ever is in charge of making the pudding. Thank y'all! I'll be coming back tomorrow, however for my brisket sandwiches“
“Ethan was my server. He recommended the Shrimp Quesadillas. Great suggestion! There were a ton of shrimp in the quesadillas, and they were perfectly cooked. It came with guacamole, pico di gallo, and jalapeño ranch to dip. It was all very tasty. The guacamole had small chuncks of avacado in it, indicating it was house-made. The pico was very fresh. And the jalapeño ranch had just a hit of heat. It all paired well with the shrimp quesadillas. Ethan was very attentive, without being too attentative. My tea never got close to empty. There was a great zydeco band playing awesome music. I will definitely be back!“

“This is a great little place you'll completely miss if you don't know it's there. The burger and onion rings didn't disappoint! Hand made Patties not frozen garbage. “A group of us attended a sausage making class that Cajun Ventures put together. We had a great time. The owner and crew are fantastic people. We had a chance to see the back kitchen area, smokers, etc. Everything is very clean and organized. We were impressed. They also cooked lunch for us and it was some of the best brisket I've ever had. I highly recommend giving them a try!“
