“Nice little spot with lots of seating. I took the street side seating as it was rather cool. I had the Tuna Poke bowl and it was amazing. It really had a different twist in great way, served with baby bokchoy, coconut rice, damage and what seems to be sort of a coffee tahini sauce if thats wrong correct me in the reply I didnt really ask my tongue dicented lol. But all togther it tasted really, refreshing 😋. Definitely give them a try.”

“Today was my first time and I got the Cheeto-Rito-Burrito and the Quesa Birria tacos and they were both PHENOMENAL!! The service was amazing, she was kind and efficient and made getting the food a breeze and totally enjoyable. I will be making this a regular stop for me!!”

“I had the pleasure of eating here today with my mom (in a wheelchair) and dad … right away on entering the restaurant, our sweet server Lisa jumped in to action to get the doors for us, then after ordering she helped us get my mom settled in at the table and made sure we were comfy. During our meal she was most attentive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed in the way of drinks, condiments, etc. The food was outstanding! Their fried green tomatoes are definitely (in my opinion) the best in Brownwood, not to mention the best price near and far! Everything I or my family have had on the menu so far has been top notch as far as quality, great value for the price, portion size, being piping hot when it’s brought out, and all the other factors that make for a great meal. If you haven’t already tried Sam’s Southern Eatery in Brownwood, what are you even doing? Go for your next meal if you’re able to! You won’t regret it!”

Plus you can shop while you wait for your drink. Tons of vendors with shelf’s of product setup ready to buy. If you haven’t stopped in you’re definitely missing out. Stop in and let Jared and his crew take care of you.”

“Underwood’s has the absolute best Cherry Cobbler in Texas! They will go out of their way to make sure you get some. They have other cobblers too but the Cherry is my favorite! Most of the employees are very helpful and kind!”

Julie is a creative mastermind and all of her products have top-notch ingredients. We just can’t decide what we like better - the ice cream or the cookies. Bwood is lucky to claim OTR!”

“I stopped by driving through on a work trip. I still had another 2 hour drive so needed an energy booster. Pablo was so great. He noticed my 7 Brew state stickers on my binder and ran in and got me a FL sticker. Little did he know I only cared about 3 state and 2 I already had. This absolutely made my night. Dragon rolls, Spicy salmon rolls, Crab Rangoon, seaweed salad Cowboy Roll and miso soup were all delicious and fresh. The service was friendly and prompt. We called ahead for a group of 6-8 and enjoyed a great atmosphere and meal on a Saturday afternoon.”

“It was awesome first donut shop to have a variety of different coffees my personal favorite cold coffee with an extra shot of espresso perfectly made the service was outstanding and service with a smile a great way to start your day off in the morning I would highly recommend this place”

“This was a very nice Subway. We stopped in and got our regular Black Forest ham on asagio cheese bread. They had quick service and great food! The restaurant was nice and clean. I would certainly recommend a stop in if you need a quick lunch or supper!”

This top tier establishment is a hidden gem of Brownwood and worth a stop if you’re driving through.A/C is lacking but the sweat dripping into your food just adds another layer of complexity into your dish. The flies keep you alert as you fight them for your food. You will never be bored at this delicatessen.”

“Delicious snow cones and great hours but the young blonde girl working is there extremely slow every time we come here. Very frustrating to wait 30 minutes in the heat when it is not even busy. Also puts entirely much syrup in the cups, it spills out the sides when you pick it up!”

“Amazing pizza.. they can make what you want and how you want it. Meat lovers think crust turned into my fav pizza in Brownwood. Very friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere.”

“This place is ok but they open at 4 pm (which means the lunch specials are not available), the prices are not the same as on the menu posted on Google, and some of the items are not available anymore such as bbq pork ribs and bbq roast pork off of the appetizers. The only meat on the appetizers available is the terryaki chicken on a stick (i will include what that looks like below) I will post an updated menu as well”

“We love to go here to play pool and enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s laid back, however the staff is very good about ensuring they take care of your needs. We always crave their Asian Egg Rolls when we aren’t there at the restaurant, so of course it’s a given we are ordering Egg rolls first thing. Then we typically share a half and half pizza or split their Dam good burger. Lots of good choices.”

“I stopped in for a to go meal while traveling. All you can eat was $2.75 lb . Pretty good fill of a to go box and was $12 , which is about the cost of eating inside. Food was delicious! Even after not opening or eating it for 3 hours refrigerated. Huge variety of freshly made dishes on buffet. It was close to 5pm so was good time to catch fresh buffet. Place was empty and they were setting up so was quiet and quick. lol I'll b going back for sure on next trip to Brownwood. Service was friendly.”

“Very friendly staff, brought out our plates and asked if we needing anything else. I've only ever had food here togo so it was a very nice surprise to see some table service. Great sandwich, got the Chicken Club sandwich with chips and a drink. The sandwich was brought out on a plate cut into 4 slices with was a surprise and nice to see. This is only my 3rd time having McAllister Deli and this sandwich is my go to and very delicious.”
