“The best overall wait-staff in Brownwood ! The entire place is full of nice folks and we always enjoy our meals there . Also , we come over for the Drs and stay for lunch , and we never go anywhere else ! Thanks for all you guys do for us old folks !“

“Made a quick visit home and found this gem downtown! We used to visit the location at the lake. This was great! It was a low key way to relax with great food and watch a game. They changed the big screen for us, too! Highly recommend this place!“

“Good food but we literally had a 2 and 1/2 hour wait for it. The restaurant wasn't that busy so there must have been a problem with staff in the kitchen.

In lieu of their response, I have revised my review up. The waitress shared there were many walk-ins at the same time, but not that main cook was missing at a funeral. I believe it's likely I will return someday and we'll see how it goes second time around, in which case I might revise this review again.“
