“We’re not from around Brownwood, but today we were passing through. A friend told me Freddy’s was solid so we figured we’d give it a try.

I seriously don’t write reviews often, but this time it needs to be done.

The food was good. No complaints whatsoever, chicken and burger were both up to our satisfaction. The dessert treat was on another level, it’s probably good there isn’t a location within an hour of my house or I’d be there every day.

Last but certainly not least, Crystal was the best employee / manager I think I’ve ever seen. She put a smile on my face within about 10 seconds of stepping in the door. Knowledgeable (not only about the menu but also about the town), has great jokes, and she gets stuff done. Her team got the food out quick and said my order number where I could actually hear.

So seriously— I’m happy with the food, but I’m a sucker for Whataburger. Nevertheless, if I’m coming through Brownwood, or anywhere in the vicinity, I’m coming back to Freddy’s.“

“Great, except for some of the menu stalls were not working and you don't know this until you have already pulled up in the stall, then you have to back out and go find another stall that is working. It would be nice if you could put a parking cone in the stalls that do not work.
