“The Buda Soda Fountain is an EXPERIENCE! I took six of my kids there and my nephew. We were in town for a wedding. One of my kids has Celiac’s Disease, and it was so refreshing to be able to relax and know that he’ll be able to enjoy a gluten-free lunch without worrying about cross-contamination! There are lots of GF options for lunch AND dessert! The food was outstanding, and everyone finished off with a root beer float. There is also a great selection of candy. If you visit Buda, you MUST stop in to eat here. Also there’s a great little pharmacy next door that has things that most pharmacies don’t - essential oils, good quality supplements, and natural health type things.“

Nomadic Beerworks Brewery • $
3804 Woodbury Dr Suite A, Austin - 11.02 miles

“Nestled in the heart of Austin's bustling craft beer scene, Nomadic Beerworks stands out as a beacon of creativity and quality. Boasting a beer list that reads like a love letter, albeit a short one, to beer enthusiasts everywhere, Nomadic offers something for every palate, from the puckering tartness of sours to the deep, rich complexities of Belgian quads. Each brew is a testament to the skill and passion of the brewers, showcasing a commitment to excellence that sets Nomadic apart from the crowd. But it's not just about the beer at Nomadic Beerworks – it's about the experience. Stepping into this brewery is like entering a hoppy wonderland, where the air is filled with the tantalizing aromas of malt and yeast. And while the outside seating, which overlooks the parking lot and the sketchy activities at the U-Haul lot across the street, may lack the trendy ambiance of some of its counterparts, the real magic happens inside, where the true spirit of craft beer culture thrives. In a world where breweries often cater to the masses, bad parents and their untethered hordes of ill behaved offspring, Nomadic Beerworks dares to be different and focus on the beer… and the adults who drink it. With its exceptional beer selection, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to quality, it's a shining example of what craft beer should be. Cheers to Nomadic Beerworks – may your taps never run dry!“

“The breakfast sandwiches were divine. The best espresso (it only comes in a double shot with ice cubes) I have EVER had. I always drink it hot and put a little sugar in, but this cold espresso was so good that I loved it cold and black. My friend visiting from Boston said that the latte was the best she'd ever had as well. Great music and atmosphere.“

“The place looks very clean with a plain and simple decor. It got busy after I arrived in the later morning; the staff was friendly and they handled the customer volume very well. The restroom was out of order, so when I needed it, I was S.O.L. (pun intended). I came only for a donut; I bought one and a coffee. The donut was fair, but nothing to write home about. The coffee was not good. They have a few standard bench tables where you can sit down to eat. They also sell some hot foods like kolaches. There are also two large drink coolers with a fairly large selection of beverages, including milk.“

“Great service! Really cool atmosphere, great for working. I had their special for the day which was the Lil’ Smoke (caramel latte topped with spicy mocha sauce) and it was so tasty! They also had stuff on tap like beer, root beer, and coffee! I really liked that its location was close to other wine bars and breweries. Will be back!“

“You looking for a great espresso? A great latte? Even challenging oat milk? This is the place. Envirionment is so great. Big windows, nice apropos music, nice clean, comfortable, plenty of parking, (which may change once this place gets too popular. ) This place has its own vibe - very hip, very NOT pretending to be - the hardly exists any more "weird" that Austin's new businesses fail so miserably at! It's a wine bar really, but they really know latte too. How well? Right at the Houndstooth, Medici, Cuvee Triannon level, well above Summermoon, Stouthaus, Jo's level. Cons: not much in laptop outlets and it's a little on the pricey side - as would a fancy wine bar would be. You get what you pay for!“

“Great coffee and drinks! The baristas are also super nice and helpful! I appreciate that this space isn’t crowded and there’s a good variety of seating options with outlets. I do wish they’d more consistently open a door or window when folks are smoking inside (they have opened something 1/3 times I’ve been so far) but it does seem to have decent ventilation otherwise.“

“This is my new happy place in the neighborhood. The owners, cooks, and staff are so friendly and welcoming here. I hope to make this a weekly hangout!I love their made-to-order breakfast tacos. My favorite is their sausage, egg, and cheese, but they have a nice variety to choose from. The guacamole salsa is mild and tasty!I also tried their smash burgers for dinner and it was a hit for the whole family! I like the way they marinate their smash burgers. Yum!Really. If you like supporting local and good food, this is your place.Located on the same premise as Circle C Swim Center. Parking is a breeze. Limited seating inside, but just right for a quick bite to enjoy solo or with a friend.Pro Tip: You can place an online order in advance through their website.“
