“I usually order pick-up through the drive thru. Usually the wait is not long and the food comes out hot and fresh. There have been a couple times where they have forgotten like 1 side but overall usually pretty good food and service. I continue to eat there fairly regularly.“

“Just tried Song La for the first time today. Shirley was so incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic. I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. Plus, everything is made to order and comes out super fresh (that said, don't come in a rush, make sure you've got a little time to enjoy their new spot at The Thicket and hang for a bit). Whether you've had Taiwanese food before and are craving it or just want to try some incredible fried chicken in a cool South Austin spot, definitely give them a try. ❤“

“I ordered food there today for the first time in a long time. Their menu is kind of limited since their reopening, but the food was superb and their typical staples are still available! They told me 35-40 minutes wait but it was hot and ready at 35. We got shrimp fried rice and chicken & broccoli. It was the most delicious food I've ever gotten there! We'll be going back soon!“

“I've always felt like people do this place an injustice with the reviews. I have ordered regularly from them for over a decade. Their fried chicken is the BEST in Austin. No joke. Solid fried rice, solid hot & sour. Not a huge fan of the brown sauce since it registers a little too sweet for me. Chicken Chow Mein is legit. Egg rolls are great. Give this place some love. They are extremely consistent and super friendly. They are so kind and do a great job. Don't listen to the haters.“

“Going inside the dining area is not the best, however everything else about this place is amazing, the smells the taste the authenticity. This is the best Asian food I've had to date everything is made in house, like I personally don't like sweet and sour sauce but I would drink theirs.“
