“Decided on Good Friday to come to Our Place Restaurant (Burleson) for an early morning breakfast. It’s always crowded here, but seeing as they open at 6:00am wanted to give it a shot. People still waiting in the parking lot for an Open this early is telling about this community staple! Food is always fantastic. Got the jalapeño sausage skillet with a couple extra additions. Was promptly seated and served. My server Tracey is just simply an amazing person! Attentive/ caring / and extremely helpful. Honestly she made my morning! If you come here, ask for Tracey to serve you!“

“Went quite a bit when they first opened and then stopped dont know why for sure but went back fri night because I saw an add for shrimp and grits and it was very possibly the best I've😍 ever had wife had pizza with Wagyu steak equally as good. Need to ck this place out you wont be disappointed“

“It was our 1st time trying Grump's. We had heard of them by word of mouth. Nothing but rave reviews & a must try spot we were told. They were right! I got the regular cheeseburger with onion rings with a root beer (it was the best root beer I've had in ages) & my husband got the Burleson Special Burger, dirty fries & a root beer. We really enjoyed our burgers they were beyond good, very juicy & full of flavor. The onion rings were good but they were just average. The dirty fries were ok just plain fries with onions & jalapenoes thrown on top nothing special about them. If they would add bacon bits & melted cheese OMG those would of elevated the fries, but that's just our opinion. We will return those burgers, were delicious! If you haven't tried them you're missing out on some great burgers & a friendly, attentive staff.“

“Today, 9 Nov 24, my wife and myself stopped at Cotton Patch. It was cool outside so we asked for coffee. Waiter informed us that the coffee machine was broke and had been for over two weeks. So my wife asked for hot cocoa. But they don’t serve hot cocoa. But the meal was very good.“

“The food was excellent, but the atmosphere and service felt unusually heavy, which made the visit less enjoyable than it could have been.

The entrées and sides were the highlight of the visit — well‑prepared, flavorful, and worth the price.
•Garlic Caper Salmon — ***** ($22.00) Perfectly cooked, great balance of flavors.
•Blackened Rainbow Trout — ***** ($20.00) Seasoned well, cooked just right.
•Iced Tea — **** ($2.99) solid, nothing to complain about.
•Banana Pudding — **** ($8.00) Tasty, comforting dessert.
•Bread Pudding — *** ($9.00) Decent, but not as strong as the other dishes.

This is where things fell short.
The service felt detached, as if the waitress was distracted or simply going through the motions. The overall vibe in the restaurant — felt unusually downcast, which affected the dining experience.
•Would I Return?
I would absolutely visit this franchise again, because the food is worth it. But returning to the Burleson location specifically is questionable based on the atmosphere and service during this visit.“

“Me, my wife and her family were looking for a place to have breakfast today. It being Christmas Day, I know that the pickin's we're going to be slim. We went to 1 place and got completely ignored. So we said let's try Waffle House on Renfro. There was a place for all seven of us to sit and they weren't completely slammed, but yet they were still busy. I'll tell you, I've been coming to this location for at least 15 years and i've never had a bad meal here, ever. Today was no exception. The way that the staff worked with each other in tandem with the servers was something to watch. Surprisingly, our waitress and the other ones that were there, kept cool under pressure and handled us with grace and attentiveness. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and was in amazing spirits since it was Christmas. So big thanks to the entire staff that handled the 7 of us and as well as everyone else that was there today!“

“The food was cooked to order and it's was served hot. It was delicious. The best part was our server Jordan. She was outstanding. She interacted with the kids. She brought extra pages to color and extra crayons. She brought the kids food out with the salads which was perfect. We never had to wait to get our drinks refilled. She was awesome. “Heard this place was a rough spot for years and finally tried it. Staff remembers my name and drink order every time I walk in, regulars are about as friendly as a dive bar gets, the owner is usually there and is a really cool guy and a veteran to boot. Don't be a jackass and you'll probably have an amazing time!“

“I visited for the first time due to Andrew Sevener performing and loved the atmosphere. Everyone was extremely friendly from the time I walked in. One of the bartenders, who was working near the stage, kept my drinks safe while I went to the bathroom. As someone who's frequently out alone, I couldn't have appreciated that more! Then Kim texted me my picture with Andrew and invited me back. What a nice group of people. It was my first time in Burleson, TX and I felt very welcomed. The food and drinks were great as well. No doubt I'll visit again. Highly recommend!“

“First time I'd been in about 10 years because the food wasn't very good. This time it was worse. We were served very very old meat, or almost rotten. They did not charge us for the food. Their food is still terrible. Drinks are OK. Food sucks!“

“I am not reviewing this place as a lover of how amazing it is compared to other places. I am reviewing this place, because this is a casual restaurant where the workers are relaxed. It makes for a great first job for high schoolers.

I do love the fact they always show you the food before they put it in a bag to give you. That's unique. 👍“
