“We love going to Jimmie’s for a date night! We have been coming to eat here since we moved back to Johnson County from the TCU area in Fort Worth. My husband and I were thrilled when we found this hidden gem in the heart of downtown Cleburne. We loved going out in FTW and we were pleasantly surprised when we discovered the food at Jimmie’s rivaled some of the best in the metroplex. Jimmie and Amanda have done a fantastic job of creating a fine dining experience close to home. We love what you are doing and will continue to support your business!“
“Very nice people working here!! Food was good!! Prices were decent as well!! Doesn't look like much on the outside but it's pretty neat to see the murals painted on the walls on the inside. This place was a suggestion from the lovely lady that runs the Gone With The Wind Museum about 8 miles up the road. She loves this place!! Definitely go to the museum it's worth it!!“
“Very tasty soup, salad, sandwich place. Cute and clean inside and the service was friendly and efficient. Ice tea was refilled appropriately and the food came out at the proper temperature. I had a spinach soup, chicken salad, and quiche combo. Good value for the money. Recommended.“
“Tiny place so everyone was elbow to elbow, but the 2 ladies working were down to earth and working their butts off. The food was pretty good except I got a large fry for $4 and got maybe a handful if I was lucky and were a little soggy....but burgers were awesome!“
“As usual, this place does not disappoint! We've not had one thing since we first started visiting here. Catfish was crispy and flaky, 3 sides were fresh and very good. The Chicken fried chicken was crispy and very flavorful. I'm not a heavy person, but this was very good! The waitstaff is consistently friendly and very attentive. We We will continue to visit R&K everything we are in Cleburne! Highly recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible parking, with side entrance so you don't have to walk all the way around.“
“This is a home cooked meal type place. It has been in cleburne for years! Always great food and worth coming back to. The decor has much of cleburnes history on it with the rail road and trains plastered every where. I will say the used to have a train going around the top trim that went in tunnels and thelastti.e I went I was not going around. That was kind of disappointing being I loved to show my littles this when we would go.“
“I was so hungry when I went .I will not cook for just me.gril cheese I will cook that. That place has real good food..good food to eat go home watch some TV go to sleep with the TV on.good food good sleep.all by myself. That's a good song.good “
“We are visiting family in Cleburne and checked this place out for breakfast. First time here. You seat yourself wherever you want. We were acknowledged as soon as we walked in and tended to right away. Our waitress was kind and made sure to get our food order correct to avoid any delay. The other servers kept up with coffee refills and were kind as well. I tried the migas and they were good. My husband and daughter had the French Toast platter and that was really good as well. Overall, great experience and food. We will visit again for sure.“
“This is a precious, quaint country place that anyone would feel welcomed. The food is tasty and staff friendly. There's a small shopping area for precious children and grandkids. The decor is unique and has a down-home flare. For dessert, we had the lemon cake and italian cream. Loved the lemon cake! The Italian cream had coconut on it. Keep that in mind. We aren't coconut fans“
“This is a family place. Locals go here, many from the larger city, to get a little away from the city. If children bother you, don't go. Our waiter was very, "on it!" As he served many other tables, ours was not let alone. Food was ok. No restaurant is ever going to cook like grandma, so if that's something you need, either learn to cook, or go to grandma's. You can get lucky, but if a place has ppl, they're good enough, and if they have ppl, they have quick procedures. That's how it works. You can pay seriously good money though. I can't, and the ppl that can don't waist they're money. It's food. You didn't cook. You didn't clean. You wasn't poisoned. Be ok, unless you're one of those mean ppl, and if you happen to know you are. Here's what you don't know. You've already eaten gross stuff, hidden. You've waited longer. Even Cowboys didn't mess with the chef. Same thing with your mechanic. Leave them alone. It's been figured out. Let them work. If they mess up, deal with it after. Then you have something to complain about. Be nice. Eat here. It's a good wholesome place.“
“I met Kristin this week who is the manager at the Cleburne location. She promptly seated me when other staff was busy, took my drink order and asked if I would like to order an appetizer. Then, Caleb was my waiter and took my order. My food arrived promptly and was good. Kristin checked back with me a couple of times during my visit to make sure everything was OK. I appreciated Kristin checking with me as it seems that dining alone "anywhere" usually receives minimal service.“
“Always friendly. Great food. Fries are not on the crispy side but I like them. Great ma and pa hamburger joint! Fish and chicken are good too! ?Dietary restrictions: Most things are fried here! But they have salad!Kid-friendliness: My son loves this place!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
