Great food, very affordable, big portions. Idk why people are saying the owner is rude. She's a vibe. Very simple place too
For some the options may seem a bit on the simple side but this place is 🔥 So delicious, savory and soul-warming every time we go. The staff is also very sweet. I highly recommend this place with all my heart.
A BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!! AMAZING PLACE!! I took some of my friends here whom had never had Korean cuisine, and they absolutely loved it! The soup felt incredibly homey and so so yummy! The owner is also incredibly kind, and funny, and welcoming; would recommend this place to anybody on a rainy day, as well as someone seeking yummy, savory, comfort food! Specially if they are feeling under the weather! Such a gem of a place! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!

Um ma son Arirang Korean Kitchen is a cozy spot in Carrollton that offers authentic Korean noodle soup. The handmade Noodles Soup with Kimchi is a must-try, featuring soft, chewy noodles and a rich, comforting broth that some find to be spicy. The portions are generous and ideal for sharing, with the homemade noodle soup capable of feeding two people. The menu highlights dishes like dough soup, hand-pulled noodle soup, miso sauce noodles, and dumplings. The dough soup and miso sauce noodles are flavorful and satisfying, while the dumplings are stuffed to perfection, though some may find them just alright. The restaurant has a traditional, homey vibe with wooden tables and metal chairs, making it a good place for a casual lunch or family dinner. It is a self-service place with no frills, but the food is delicious and fresh. The noodles are chewy and have a nice bounce, and the broth feels like a warm hug, perfect for cold days. Side dishes complement the mains well. Service is quick, and staff are friendly, though counter service can seem a little impatient at times. For an affordable and tasty Korean dining experience, Um ma son Arirang Korean Kitchen remains a top choice in Dallas.
