Also, they provide condiments on the table, unlike other restaurants now where you have to ask for everything. Great soundtrack playing at a volume level so you can have a conversation. “The location on Preston just south of Park in Plano was convenient and lots of parking was available this past Friday at 9am. The ambiance with the Orange lamp shades and green leather upholstery, nice booths, is up-market and uplifting. We were surprised that it was not busy but perhaps 9am on Friday is already the tail end of breakfast?
Ahsanii was our server and really made the experience for us delightful. She knew her menu, had great suggestions, and had a happy and joyful demeanor. Without doubt, a server like Ahsanii makes the difference no matter what reputation a restaurant may have. She checked in regularly, ensured our food was out on time, and our coffee was topped up. The food was great and well presented.

“Sitting in a booth, waiting on our food, and wanted to leave a review strictly on the quality of service!!! We were greeted outside with the manager holding the door open for us, we were immediately sat, and our server, Aleny, is the kindest! I came in with a coffee that wasn’t great, and she offered to take it to the back and put their own syrup in it! Usually, places will tell you no outside food or drinks so this was very refreshing! SO thoughtful and so appreciated. Everyone is so nice and the menu is incredible. If you’re in Addison, be sure to check out the Toasted Yolk!! 🤍“

“I had breakfast yesterday for the first time here, and the food was amazing. My friend had the banana and Nutella crepes. She said they were delicious. I had scrambled eggs and ham and the portions were awesome. Our server Isaac was excellent. We plan to return and try having lunch. “This was not my first place to stop. The other one was under staffed so we turned around and went back. I was like they look to be packed. Their parking lot is small. I went inside it was small. All that to say the service was great! I have NEVER been to an IHOP and received my food that fast. Our waitress sorry I do not remember her name but was great and very friendly. This location is way out of my way but will drive there when I need an IHOP fix.“

“My wife and I eat breakfast almost every weekend after our morning workout. It’s a little bit of “our time” on the weekend and the staff and food has always been great. But a few weeks ago they were busy and although the meal was good the service was a little lacking and upon checkout our server’s assistant was short and seemed irritated. We were surprised and as we left were talking about it and hostess overheard and we saw her go back and immediately say something to our server. We chalked it up to being short staffed and busy. Came back the next week and everything was great. Came again today and everything was great AND our server from the bad day waited on us and was great. Here’s the part that impressed me, as we were checking out she stopped and apologized for the service from a couple weeks before, didn’t make excuses, said she’d addressed the issue with her assistant and thanked us for coming back. Apologizing is a lost art, and we appreciated it so much that not only did she not get defensive she remembered the situation, it had clearly been on her mind since that day and she wanted to make it right. That tells me Barney’s is here for the long haul and has leadership that is inspiring the employees. Great job Barney’s! We will continue to our weekend breakfast dates for a long long time.“

“What a great and delicious hidden gem for that donut craving! 😋 So good the Dart buses stop for donuts! 😂 They are conveniently located on Spring Valley not far from the tollway so it makes for quick in out for that morning commute.
Excellent variety and if you need more than sweets they have fantastic freshly made breakfast sandwiches! It’s family owned and operated and they are as sweet as the donuts they make! Always smiling! 😁“

Saddened by the news, Cecy went above and beyond asking me what I desired from the breakfast menu and informed me that she should be more than happy to assist with my order. “We went during the week and didn't expect to have great service but boy were we wrong. The food was excellent and the waitress was by far the best waitress I have had in a very long time.
