“It was my 2nd time at this location. I was celebrating my GF's birthday week (not day, but week). Who does that? She's so cute. Service was good. We were greeted warmly, and I even received a compliment on my attire. The only issue was the pancakes (the world famous pancakes), they were a little on the cool side. The butter refused to melt. The server took them back to reheat them. Everything else was good after that. We ordered the 2x2x2 off the 55+ menu. AARP rules. Note: the 1% milk tasted like 2%.“

“This place is fantastic! I've been a number of times & the service is always friendly & efficient. Food tried has included the Veggie Omelet, California Benedict (could use a bit more crumbled bacon), Bagel & Lox, Cinnamon Roll French Toast, & Turkey Avocado Wrap. All delicious! Pancakes & waffles come with drizzled cream cheese icing. Wasn't sure about this, but was So good! Servings are very generous. Definitely going back again!“

I ate this place when I worked in Orlando years and ago and randomly walked into this location surprised they're in Dallas. Food was awesome and brought back good memories of my time in Orlando. “My wife and I came here with her co-worker, who found this breakfast spot for us while they’re in town for a work conference.

When you walk in, there are menus available at the entrance, and more are at the register in case you missed one.

It wasn’t too busy this morning, but the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.

I ordered the Retro, and my wife went for the Keto with apple cinnamon waffles. The atmosphere is very open, and while the A/C was a bit chilly, it makes sense with the large windows. I can imagine how hot it gets during the Texas summer.

The food was amazing! My biscuit and jam were delicious, and though my mini hash browns were a little over-fried, it wasn’t a big deal for me.

The orange juice is freshly squeezed not the processed stuff you get at most places. There’s some pulp in it, so if you’re not a fan, you might want to ask if they offer a pulp-free option.“

It’s bitter and just not taste good. I try ordering the Vanilla Latte instead & it was good, but it was served in a very small cup & I had to order it again. “I try to eat at The toasted yolk every chance I get when traveling. The service at this location was excellent. I sat at the bar and the bartender was fast, efficient and friendly. She had two very difficult young ladies to wait on and she handled it perfectly with a smile“

“A little gem, right off of 635 and belt line. Easy parking, great prices and variety of dining options, walked in on a Sunday morning was quickly seated and tended to by all staff. If you're looking for a great brunch and location that treats you like family and has something for everyone in your party, this is it! Highly recommend the chicken fried steak and eggs and the Siena omelet.“

“Casual AM eatery. Staff is always pretty busy, even when we come on the shoulder of the peak and lull, and they still make the time to serve you. They have high chairs, and it’s loud enough that no one minds an occasional scream or two.

We love that the calorie counts are provided. Great for tracking macros or a cheat meal. I love the range of pancakes, from crisp flap jacks to milk-soaked, they are always tasty!

“I'm a truck driver and I saw a glowing donut sign and had a sweet tooth. Usually look up reviews but did not. This place is neat and clean. Donuts r well presented. I've never seen a spinach and feta pastry but took a chance on it. Omg so light and flaky and fluffy. Best thing I've ever bought from a donut shop. The donuts are the fluffy kind like in the deep south. Wow. They do have cake ones I think like Krispy Kreme but I absolutely despise cake donuts and krispy kreme in general. I'll probably never be in this area again with a sweet tooth but all others will be compared to u from now on Spring Valley Donuts.“

“My wife and I eat breakfast almost every weekend after our morning workout. It’s a little bit of “our time” on the weekend and the staff and food has always been great. But a few weeks ago they were busy and although the meal was good the service was a little lacking and upon checkout our server’s assistant was short and seemed irritated. We were surprised and as we left were talking about it and hostess overheard and we saw her go back and immediately say something to our server. We chalked it up to being short staffed and busy. Came back the next week and everything was great. Came again today and everything was great AND our server from the bad day waited on us and was great. Here’s the part that impressed me, as we were checking out she stopped and apologized for the service from a couple weeks before, didn’t make excuses, said she’d addressed the issue with her assistant and thanked us for coming back. Apologizing is a lost art, and we appreciated it so much that not only did she not get defensive she remembered the situation, it had clearly been on her mind since that day and she wanted to make it right. That tells me Barney’s is here for the long haul and has leadership that is inspiring the employees. Great job Barney’s! We will continue to our weekend breakfast dates for a long long time.“
