“Sign says authentic and authentic it is. Made fresh, piping hot and delicious with a right amount of spice. Ordered Green curry, Tom Yum Soup, Chicken Satay, one of the noodles. Thai iced tea was outstanding, flavorful but not too sweet. We came into town and this was or farewell meal before flying back to Chicago. We'll be back to this place when back in Dallas.“

“This was our second visit and the food was fantastic!The service was quick and friendly! We started out with fried tofu and a papaya salad, and both were very good. I had the Thai Peanut with chick, spicy level 3 (out of 5), and it was perfect! The vegetables were nicely cooked, not mushy, and there was a nice spicy kick without being unbearably spicy. I wish we had saved room for dessert. Maybe next time!“

“I visited the restaurant today and had an amazing experience. Our server sara was so friendly and bubbly it genuinely lightened up my mood! I am very shocked to see the review i see about her because i don’t believe it is a reflection of her. Regarding the food. Just WOW! it was truly a feast to say the least! I ordered a Red Curry and i have to say it was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted! Even though it was busy all servers kept checking our table even the manager came and checked on us! “Small and quaint Thai/Vietnamese joint and it did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere with lovely attentive staff. Had Kao Soi noodles with chicken and DANG…so tasty. Prob my top 5 in Dallas for that dish. Side of flavorful crispy chicken spring rolls and you can tell they were hand made (not from frozen). Will definitely be coming back when my route home takes me by here. Ugh, even took home the yellow curry sauce to make a second dish tomorrow. 👏🏻🙌🏻“

“Absolutely terrible manager! Please avoid this restaurant at all costs if you value good customer service. I'm still in disbelief! We ordered around $170 worth of food. Our only mistake was sharing a few sips from my refillable cup with my friend. That's it! The manager overreacted, making a huge scene, even though I apologized and offered to pay for the additional drinks. We ended up paying for three extra drinks. I have the receipt to prove it. ** Yet, he still called the police on us! ** The police officer was literally laughing when we explained why the manager called him. Let me elaborate to make it clear that I'm not just biased against him. We were a group of six. Initially, we had a friendly guy at the counter who offered suggestions and helped us navigate the menu since we're not familiar with Thai food. However, the manager suddenly took over, removed the friendly staff member, and behaved erratically, as if he was drunk (though I'm not saying he was drunk). He refused to offer suggestions. When we asked like what manu is popular here, or what should we order, he said every time that thats our own choice. The waiter served our food quickly and then disappeared for the rest of our meal. He went out of the restaurant. The manager literally reminded us three times that the waiter was gone and that we should leave a tip on the counter for him if we wanted to. OMG!! It was as if it was a crime to start eating without giving a tip! When the manager noticed us sharing drinks from the refillable cup, he became rude and confrontational, saying it was against their store policy. I apologized and offered to pay for it, but one of my friends protested slightly, feeling humiliated by the manager's behavior.Then he got furious. He started shouting at us. We paid for the additional drink, didn't finish our food, and were ready to leave. However, I wanted to report his behavior, so I asked for his name. He refused to provide any information about himself or his superiors, repeatedly stating that he was the manager and the only one we could talk to. Then I tried to take a photo of him for our reference. He immediately called 911. He showed no respect or value for customers. This is not the kind of manager any restaurant would want! Absolutely the worst!“

The Pad Prik Gaeng (stir-fried pork with red curry paste and long beans) was spicy and delicious. The pork rib curry (Kaeng Kua) was rich and flavorful, and the grilled pork neck was tender and juicy. Apparently, it is the sister restaurant to Sakhuu Thai, which has several locations and is well-known, but for legal reasons they are not able to use that name in this location. It would be a great date-night spot as well, since it’s dimly lit with cute little lamps on each table. It’s tucked away in a strip mall, so it’s easy to miss. Please, please come to this location and keep it afloat! It’s been under new ownership for the past few months, so don’t judge based on reviews from more than 5 months ago. I’ve tried the pad Thai, Tom Kha soup, mango sticky rice, pad see ew, and today tried the massaman curry…all were with MEDIUM spice (perfectly spiced…not weak and not overpowering). Obviously no spice on the mango sticky rice ;) Everything is delicious here!! The quality of chicken is great (I’m very picky about that), it is white meat chicken…no gristle, etc. You’ve got to come here…it will be your new favorite Thai restaurant, like it is mine! Kit is a wonderful, attentive and friendly server…hope you get him…though I’m sure they’re all amazing!“
