Pad Thai was delicious, with fresh ingredients & perfect seasoning; the mild spiciness was just right for me, and the generous portions, enough for another meal. Crab rangoon was the best I've ever had, & little egg rolls that had some of everything rolled in there, & a wonderful chef-made sweet & sour sauce that I think they should bottle, was delicious on everything. The servers were attentive, friendly, and explained all the menu items. Great restaurant & staff. Give it a try, you will love it!“

“On a road trip, my daughter and I saw the pizza photos on Maps and had to try. So we drove 20 minutes out of the way for pizza and it was worth it. The crust was crispy, perfectly cooked, good sauce and right amount of cheese. She got the chicken pesto pizza and I got the meat lovers. It's more expensive, but we stop at random places all the time and Sapores Pizza is worth it.“

When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! “I have been wanting to try this place for some time now after excellent reviews from friends. It exceeded expectations from the well-balanced and delicious cocktails to both cold and hot dishes. For cocktails I tried the Maracuya (welll-balanced, fruit forward but not too sweet) and Club Esmeralda (balanced with fresh herbaceous essence). My husband had the Saltao’ Sour (balanced Mezcal cocktail but not too Smokey with egg white for a nice finish) and Hola Oaxaca (Smokey cocktail balanced with the Orgeat). I recommend trying them all! For food we started with the Nikkei Cebiche which was the highlight of our meal. The fresh Yellow Fin tuna layered with flavors instantly had us ready for a second visit. On to the Piqueos section of the menu where we enjoyed the Yucca Frita, Conchitas a la Parmesana and Anticuchos. Each a warm dish with continued fresh flavors. For our main course we shared the Chaufa (fried rice with pork belly, sausage, egg etc) again layers of flavors and a hearty portion to share. We completed our food journey each with a glass of wine, he a Sauv Blanc from Chile and myself an Albariño. Please come enjoy this lovely gem in Southtown. “Had an incredible evening at Battalion tonight celebrating my wife's birthday!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and this was a perfect opportunity for a date night. For starters we had the spinach dumplings and the the meatballs, both were delicious but my favorite were the dumplings by far. For our mains we had the lamb chops and the tenderloin, both incredible. For sides we shared the green beans, the cavatappi, and the manacotti pasta. We were so delighted with all of it and almost too full for dessert....but still sampled the smores panna cotta and the tiramisu. Our server was over the top friendly and helpful, assisted with drink selections and never left us waiting or wanting for anything. (I am so sorry I forgot his name, but he even took a picture of us to celebrate the evening!) Thank you for a wonderful evening and a fantastic dinner!! We'll be back again for sure!!“
