Leonard he was amazing! Super fast and made sure everything was perfect, even checked up on us to make sure everything was good. The food was so good everything tasted perfect. Drinks were super good too. I highly recommend this spot and definitely ask for Leonard if you can. Great vibes all around I’m from Memphis and I will definitely be coming back“

“We came the first week of April (our first time there and we were visiting family in Texas), and I never had crawfish until my sister ordered 3lbs of mild lemon pepper crawfish and OMG THEY WERE SOOOOO DELICIOUS. I wish you guys can expand your business here in North Carolina because they would see my face every pay day. The environment and waiter was AMAZINGGGGG. When I come back to Texas, I will be coming back to the restaurant“

This place is great for seafood. Atmosphere consists of hard working people enjoying an adult beverage along with their food. Self seating. No servers per say. They work as a team. If you can’t get a seat at the bar, you will sit facing the glass. However you just place your order across the bar and customers. Food is always good. I had catfish and shrimp with fries. I also had gumbo. This is a no frills restaurant but food is pleasantly good and good portion. I haven’t managed to have an adult beverage as I only have gone during lunch. But they look good and everyone is day drinking when you come for lunch.“

“We love this restaurant. It’s been a Highlands staple for longer than I’ve been around. Portion sizes are awesome Carla and her crew are wonderful. Dad eats there quite often and don’t sleep on the fish special. The fish nuggets are amazing and the perfect way to enjoy this type of fish. :)“

To not have discovered this little 💎 of a place sooner than a few months ago is beyond me & they’re right around the corner from our house, lol. The po’ boy was loaded with plump, seasoned shrimp nestled in fresh, lightly toasted bread with just the right amount of dressing. The fried catfish was crisp on the outside, tender and flaky inside, with no hint of greasiness. The fried shrimp had the perfect crunch, juicy center, and a flavor that kept me reaching for more. I tried the large fried shrimp, fried scallops, fried squid, hushpuppies and fries. They were ALL delicious!
I was really surprised at how good their crinkle fries were! Their corn/Jalapeno hushpuppies had a great flavor as well.

“We had a group of nine people and when we sat down we were greeted and gave drink orders. Family visiting while eating chips and salsa. Ordered food and it was ready and delivered to NINE people still hot and fresh. The service was better than any place I have ever been with EIGHT MORE PEOPLE. The food is fixed by real Hispanic cooks and was delicious.“

“Yesterday was our first time dining at Main 101. We've been wanting to go for a couple of years, yes years! We are so glad we did. The food was phenomenal & service was great. My only suggestion is to change the decor in the restaurant. The way the food tastes, this deserves to look like a fine dining restaurant. “Fantastic. We had the combo plate (fried chicken, catfish fillet, and shrimp), crawfish fried rice, shrimp and chicken gumbo, blackened shrimp and fish with boudain balls and fries. Spent $70 to feed three people.
Everything was so well seasoned. It was clean, too. We will come here again.“
