“I am not from the area, not even from Texas! The food, service, and ambience here are great and I am a little tired from my 3.5-hour flight.Quality starts from the top in terms of leadership. Everyone is pleasant and just formal enough to be professional enough but toned down to be family-friendly. Diana is the manager and she leads by example. If she were to leave the shoes would be too big. Our server, Juan, is a great ambassador for the restaurant and menu; a great server.Compared to where I live I am happy not to hear foul language from the tables around us. “My family and I went to eat Sunday night and we hadn’t scheduled a reservation. We get there and they were able to accommodate a table of 15 with no issues. The servers were so great And explained everything in detail and even separated checks by numbers (which a lot of restaurants don’t do). They had great music, my fave Frida in every corner of the restaurant, great decor the chandeliers looked awesome, it was so clean and smelled so good upon entering. They gave us complimentary appetizers and desserts which were awesome like the queso. I really wished I would have taken pictures of everything but even the most picky family members loved it and said they will def be back. The prices were super reasonable definitely not as expensive as other restaurants. My husband and I shared a parrillada for 2 beef and omg the homemade tortillas de maíz were amazing! It came with a good amount of beef, onion and bell peppers all fresh. We both had our own beans, rice, sour cream, avocado and tortillas. I had a mangonada and it was delightful and the miches were great! Everyone was helping us with great spirit and over all made us feel welcomed! “Allie was very attentive. She was checking on us every 5 minutes. She was very sweet. The only problem I had is when we first got here there were plenty of tables outside and we told them we want to eat out there. The gentleman who seated us said he didn't think that was possible. I of course ask why. He said Quote I don't know .? all in all Allie made everything alright.“

“My first time visiting Houston and decided to have Mexican food for dinner, I saw this place near my hotel and stopped because we thought it was so beautiful. The outside patio was gorgeous, it was even more beautiful inside. Wow I'm glad we decided to stop it was Amazing! We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas the steak was so delicious and tender it melted in my mouth and the chicken also so delicious and tender came with a delightful garlic butter. The beans that came with were great. For dessert I recommended the tres Leche cake. The restaurant manager Cane was so friendly and visited with us making us feel so welcome. Our servers Genisis and Wendy were wonderful.“

“Beef Fajitas: Meat taste delicious. Onion and bell pepper were good and crisps. I don't eat beans but these were good. Only complain was very little sour cream, no guacamole and no cheese. Avocado, Lettuce and tomatoes with fajitas is weird and throws off the taste. Online prices are wrong.“

“I compare every other taco spot to Los Reyes. They have the best tacos I've ever had. I always order Fajita and Pastor with all the toppings and then add the Salsa Verde and lime. Literally the best. I've been going to the Los Reyes locations since I was a child, and now I'm bringing my own children. Easily over 25yrs. All the locations have been really good, and this one is no different.I remember coming here when they first opened. I lived in Channelview and my family was stoked to finally have one so close! You had to order at the window and the had two picnic tables on a porch outside. Food is just as good now as it was then.There was a period a couple years ago where they were skimpy on the meat in the tacos, but the last couple of times was a step back to what I remember them being like.I will continue to go here no matter where I live in Houston. My family only eats here once every couple of months, but it's genuinely always great.They close at 5pm for some reason, and seating is not the best, but you'll be happy that you went regardless.And don't ever suggest a spot to me if the taco place you're recommending serves basic onion/cilantro tacos. Those all taste the same! I have tried EVERY single spot on Sheldon, and none of them are close to the quality and size of Los Reyes.“

“I can't speak highly enough about The Don'Key. Those folks have been with me through the best of times, and the worst of times. I my ex-wife and I even went there on our wedding day, because we couldn't think of anything better to do with a limo. It was an epic experience. Some nice lady at the bar even bought us all a round of 'ritas because of how 'pasadena' it was for people to hit the Don'Key on their wedding day.The bar is fantastic. Christin is gone, now, but she was __the_best__ at keeping my glass full, and that's what is really important to me. Chris does a great job, as well.Taylor, though. Good grief, if you want to do work and not be distracted by other people at the bar who don't understand what you're doing, get a table with her. She's my favorite waitress ever. It's like being at the bar, but at a table by myself. It don't get no better than that, and I know a little bit about these things. I've searched the whole country looking for a place with a better mix of people, products, and prices than the Don'Key, and there just isn't one.I love the Don'Key, especially when Taylor is there.“

“Gotta say this is by far the cleanest Chilis I’ve ever been too! However the burger, ordered it pink and it came crusty and well done. Cheese was dried up. Chilis exists because of this burger. Hope they can show the old timer some love in the near future. We need a juicy patty and some melted cheese please.“
