Burger was very good, I had the fried shrimp basket, came out extremely hot (fresh out the fryer, didn'tsit under a heat lamp)... had to wait a short time but worth the wait!!! “The food at this restaurant is very good to the point I eat there at least once a week and unlike other restaurants in Brenham I have never had to send food back or gotten ill from eating at Pioneer. I do want to address some of the complaints about the wait staff. He believes in giving all people no matter the age a chance at a job sometimes its that persons first job and like all jobs we just start out at we fail sometimes. So applause to Mark for giving people a start everyone has to start somewhere so give the kids a break!“

“The service was just right. The food was filling amd tasted great. I went boring with the sausage gravy and biscuits, but it really hit the spot. No need for extra seasoning whatsoever. I also experienced my first perfect coffee. Comfortably drinkable temperature, excellently balanced sweet to bitter flavor, and the flavor profile of the add-ins didn't overwhelm the overall flavor. That and the consistency of the beverage was light, fluffy and delightful.“
