“I spent a week at Spirit Wild Ranch back in 2006 and it was a fantastic time. It is a beautiful spot with every type of landscape you can imagine. From massive fields broken by wooded areas to picturesque water frontage on a crystal clear creek, it offers all kinds of opportunities for several species. It is well groomed and cared for to ensure longevity of future visitors. The accommodations were excellent, as was the company. Ted and family are salt of the earth folks and I wish more people had the opportunity to meet them outside of the normal media circus. Great place, beautiful accommodations & fantastic people. Highly reccommend.”

“We LOVE Hokkaido! We especially enjoy it when we are under the weather. (Like a lot of us are right now). We find it is warm and satisfying. A couple of observations that may be worth taking note of: 1. Online ordering is hit and miss. The hours on the ordering website (chowbus) aren’t accurate and sometimes the add-ons or subtractions aren’t taken into account. 2. I noticed that some staff members park in the front. This wouldn’t concern me so much if it wasn’t for the handicapped patrons. Maybe I am missing something? Anyhoo, all in all, it is a great atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious, and frankly, that’s why we go.”

Visiting from the East Coast—and knowing how many great Italian restaurants we have out there—I was pleasantly surprised by just how amazing the service, food, and atmosphere were. We were greeted by the gracious owner, Dan, who welcomed us with open arms, and his staff was just as warm and attentive. What a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely to die for. “I ordered the biscuits and gravy, 2 over easy eggs, and it came with fried potatoes. The biscuits and gravy reminded me of my grandmother's (homestyle gravy), the eggs were cooked perfect, and the potatoes were pretty good as well. The staff was friendly and even though there were plenty of people it didn't seem too loud. Will definitely be going back.”

“had dinner with my daughter at Cotton Patch in Waco, Destiny was our waitress. we had the chicken fried steak special and chicken fried chicken sandwich with fries and the sauce. dinner was really good, sweet tea was very refreshing nice and sweet with just a hint of lemon. Destiny was spectacular, very friendly, smiling, and very helpful. answered all our questions. would highly recommend.”

“First time to eat here and what a wonderful experience! Owned by an Italian family and food is very authentic. The waitress was wonderful and very attentive and the food delicious! The bread was wonderful, not bread sticks, but baked to perfection brushed with garlic oil and parmesan sprinkled on top. I had the salad with chicken and the portions were plentiful, the salad fresh and crispy and the chicken was seasoned. So tasty and so very happy to find this great restaurant. Highly recommend.”
