“Omg been around for a year always seen their sign and finally decided to give them a try. My husband got their 2 meat potato and I got their 2 meat plate with two sides and a drink. I got the brisket and jalapeno sausage and he did the same on his potato….. OMG THEIR FOOD JUST MELTED IN MY MOUTH AND IT WAS THE BEST WE HAD IN AWHILE… totally will be back thank you so much and they were so friendly and sweet to us.“

“The brisket was good. Not great but good. And that is saying a lot coming from me. I am a bit of a BBQ snob. Brisket is the top of the bbq accomplishments. And True Texas Bbq at HEB on 242 does a good job. Like I said, not great but a solid brisket.... and when considering the price. It comes close to great. The ribs are good, but ribs are easy. The ribs were to expensive but good. If you are looking for the best Texas BBQ you may want to look elsewhere. But if you want a solid classic Texas BBQ experience that won't break the bank and is close to home.... then True Texas BBQ at HEB on 242 is definitely worth giving a go.“

“Newish location, the brisket was really dry and I was super disappointed because I've eaten at other Rudy's before and the food is always excellent. The pulled pork was not as succulent as I remember. Rudy's beans are super good and Smoky flavored, these are just kind of like plain beans.
It has the same look an appeal as the other Rudy's, which is a kind of a cool layout and everybody was friendly there and helpful,
I was just very disappointed with the quality of food, we brought friends who were traveling from Canada there hoping to show them some good barbecue and it was mediocre at best. Having been to other Rudy's I wish these guys the best.
At their other restaurants are phenomenal, I hope they come up to the standards of the other restaurants because Rudy's is a fine company.“

“Absolutely amazing food! The absolute best Thai we’ve had here in Texas! If you’ve been to Le Thai in Vegas (we were going to make a trip to eat there), this place easily rivals that and quenched our need for really really good Thai. The red curry with brisket was our favorite, 10/10“

“This place is so packed. Like crazy packed. But the staff operates beautifully. They are all Running around so fast. So many of them. Always watching out for the crowd of people. I don’t go to places like this often because it’s just too many people for me. But this was a nice trip. Sunny was our server. I must have asked for more time 4 times. 🙌🏼🤣 He was so nice and patient. Food was super good. As someone who hates crowds I’d definitely go back. Worth it. 🫶🏼“

“Drive by The Shed BBQ all the time and I finally made the stop and it was worth it I got the brisket burger man one of the best burgers I have had in a long time served along with great service I 100% recommend you make the stop it’s worth it!“
