“Chile's on Hwy 78 was nice. Food was really good and cooked to order. The chips and salsa were fresh and crisp. Our waitress was very attentive and quick to refill our glasses of tea. Poor lady, I think she got tired of us saying thank you so much but she never let on otherwise. It wasn't too busy so it was kind of quiet (which I appreciated) but I almost asked them to turn the music down, but I didn't want to be that cranky old lady. LOL.“
“We decided to stop at SipIt after a long day of moving, and Yoli has made this such an awesome and easy experience!! Super caring and absolutely knows what she’s doing! She is so full of energy and that’s what makes this a good experience. Definitely coming back!!“
“Saw this place on Facebook and as always looking for something new. There is a large amount of parking across the street but the parking lot can fill up fast as well . This tells you how great this little town is. The inside is small but the patio area is very spacious with several tables to sit at. There is a stage and the music was awesome! I felt like I was at home in my own back yard. The food trucks vary. I did not care much for the two food trucks there that night. (I won't say which because this is based on my taste not anyone else's) drinks were good and there are $2 shots when you hear the train horn ?. I loved this place and so did my family who attended. The age group is a mixture and dog friendly. Try this place and always judge fir yourself.“
“I would have loved to have shared photos of my food, but it was way too scrumptious to stop and take a Pic. Sorry, not sorry. We got here early bit stayed awhile to enjoy 3 orders of shareable and plenty of yummy wine. They had a really diverse selection, ready to make recommendations and extremely accommodating if for some reason they didn't have something available. You will not be disappointed if you want a lively, flavorful and relaxed night with pleasant company. Hubby and I will be returning and finding friends at some point in our busy lives so we can enjoy this place again.“
“I went last night and my husband went today and we loveeeeeee it! The server last night was amazing! She answered all my questions, wasn't irritated that I asked a lot and we thoroughly enjoyed the drink when we got home. Like I said, we have been back in less than 24hours, we are super fans. The drinks are strong, PERFECT to drink at home and do married couple things lol. Highly recommend“
“The Keto pizza was wonderful. The crust was crisp and I have had the cauliflower crust at few other places, but the crust was nice and crisp!!! The wings were great and so was the Bloody Mary!!!We took home pumpkin pie cheesecake square that was keto friendly…. Operative word is WAS. It was so good that it was gone in 4 bites!!!We will be back soon!!!“
“Our favorite sandwich shop now! I usually get the Power Plant with jalapeño hummus though all the varieties of sandwich look delicious! Love the toasted taste and the eclectic vibe of this restaurant! This location has a great patio too, so it's great for meeting with your SO and or a friend group. Also love their baked goodies! The folks who work there give awesome service - they're all friendly and very helpful! I first visited the Austin location with my college student then when I saw the sign here in SA I was super excited! And they don't disappoint!! It's truly an awesome shop! Make it your next stop and enjoy it!!“
“My friends wanted to do karaoke so we found Zombies Bar! The horror-themed decorations are great! And there's multiple TV screens playing horror movies and even a section for a couple of arcade games if you're not in the mood for karaoke. The environment is super chill and supportive, as I would normally never sing in front of strangers. My friends and I waited about an hour until it was our turn. It was a lot of fun! Taking off one star because I thought the ladies restroom could've been more clean. And the stall door didn't have a handbag hook.“
“Great bar with inside and outside seating options. Everyone is super friendly! I chose to sit outside because there was a covered patio, live music and plenty of fans to keep you cool. The inside is too smoky for me but it looked chill with plenty of tables, slots and the restrooms were clean!“
“Easy Street Bar is an absolute hidden gem in our local scene! Walking through its doors feels like stepping into a cozy oasis where time slows down and good times roll. The ambiance exudes a charming dive bar vibe that instantly puts you at ease. The jukebox, filled with an eclectic selection of tunes, sets the perfect backdrop for laughter and conversations with friends old and new.The allure of Easy Street goes beyond its inviting atmosphere; their pool tables offer endless hours of friendly competition, making every visit memorable. And let's not forget the food – a delightful surprise that takes traditional bar fare to a whole new level. The menu boasts mouthwatering options that satisfy both cravings and appetites. But what truly sets Easy Street apart is its sense of community. The regulars, the staff – everyone here feels like family, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie that's hard to find elsewhere. Whether you're seeking a chill evening with friends or a solo escape from the daily grind, Easy Street Bar is the place to be. It's not just a bar; it's a haven where music, games, food, and camaraderie effortlessly come together. Cheers to Easy Street Bar for consistently delivering an exceptional experience!“
“Wednesday night, cooler weather in March, moderate crowd, family friendly. The bar stools were all filled, but the single bar tender managed very well. There is a lot of seating throughout the inner building and exterior. There were at least 5 food trucks open, which is a lot more than other places we've been on a weeknight. The food at the "sisters tacos and more" food truck was extremely good. We had the corn in the cup and birria quesadilla, it wasn't the best I ever had, but they did not skimp on the birria! The only thing keeping me from 4 stars is the liquor selection could have been larger. They had the basics and had decent cheap specialty drinks but could expand on liquor flavors and selections. I'd 100% recommend this spot and will be back!“
“Hidden secret. Great pub food, exceptional good-hearted service, fantastic prices, if you don't come here you should ask yourself why not. Did I mention they have Yueng Ling on draft? I'm not special, but I don't review often unless the place is worth it, do as you please.“
“We were on a mini working vacation and by chance we stopped at this bar. Dani was the mixologist who made amazing drinks and super friendly. I have traveled alot of places around the country but by far best mixologist I have ever had you must stop and see her if you around that area of Texas thanks for the great service ??“
“Love this place ❤️ it's got a great bag of seafood for a great price. Everything I've had here is pretty good and the sat spice is worth a try. I would highly recommend if your looking for seafood boil. The market price is probably one of the best I've seen in San “
“Great drinks in a relaxing atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bartender was super friendly. I can't remember her name but she had a really long braid. She was the sweetest! My only complaint, and this is very small, is that the stools that make up most of their seating options aren't that comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. Other than that I loved it and will definitely be back!“
“The small town of Bracken TX & its places of business has character & characters. When the Bracken Cafe relocated to Retama Race Track, the Bracken Store & Ice House opened its doors at this address. The new business appealed to people who enjoyed good food (Food truck) expanded dining to outdoors, added a convenient store & live entertainment. What brought me back today at 0100pm was a fund raiser for Earl Rhodes. A BBQ, bake sale, & an auction of very nice donated items. Earl is a friend of LeAn Watson Butler whom I have known from workouts & socials at the old Spectrum gym. It is a good worthy cause. Think anyone going to the ice house, to eat or be entertained would feel very comfortable doing so. Everyone I met from LeAn's group or the store were super friendly & engaging.“
“A friend of mine wanted to go as soon as they opened & I had never been. The female working was professional, fast & friendly. I have to give props to whoever designed the place. The vibe, decor, layout & overall atmosphere was ??“
“Love this place! Full of regulars who have been around for over 10years. It's a family type atmosphere. Reasonably priced drinks, bartenders are efficient, kind, and it's bar is very clean. Great Thai restaurant you can order from next door too.“
“Recently came here twice and it is just a very chill place in general. They have a front patio and a back area. It's a hole in the wall type place but that's more so why I liked it. The bartender however (sorry I didn't catch her name) was amazing. I ordered and old fashioned and she went all out. Couldn't ask for better. I frequent a lot of bars and alot of them either can't make an old fashion or can't make a decent one yet her's was perfection down to the luxardo cherries. She was very nice and told me about the bottles they had and suggested a great bourbon. Love the place. I'll be a regular from now on, thanks girly“
“Best Daiquiris in universal city/Live oak area. Service is Great as well. My wife and I go here often on our days off and they never let us down. They have daily specials. The flavors are Great. I think it would be a great idea if they started serving "munchie" type foods. Like ice cream, Frito pies with cheese, snacks, etc. It would be an all around one stop shop for party nights.“
“It was ok...went on "goat roper" nite...two stepping... band was good... Felt like an outsider...must likely been my Marine Corps cap... next time, I'll wear my cowboy hat... I have rode a horse ? a few times, and native Texan!“
“Love this place! My husband and I have been coming here for years! The bartenders are always friendly and welcoming. We especially love the bars hospitality in hosting our pool league nights! Love that they have the AMI music system. Allows us to be our own DJ! We highly recommend this bar for any night of the week!“
“You know what a brewery is. This is one. You know what a distillery is. This is one. Do you know what a malt whiskey is? This place makes one of the best in the world. I'm not making this up. If you enjoy whiskey, and you know the difference between bourbon and malt whiskey like Scotch or Irish whiskey, the Rimfire malt whiskey has placed 12th on the best craft whiskey produced on our planet. Consider... Scotch and Irish whiskey are aged with charred peat. Consider the aroma of charred mesquite used in the aging of Rimfire. I love it.“
“This local bar is located just outside Fort Sam Houston off Harry Wurzbach @ Burr Road. Most might consider this a "dive" bar, but I'd say a friendly, local spot. The beer is always cold and Shelby is the go-to bartender. She may not always remember your name, but she sure remembers your face. This is definitely a spot you will find regulars. There are games such as pool, trivia and darts and also a jukebox. There is a sign outside the bar that reads "best pizza in town" and while opinions may vary, this dang pizza is good! That is all the food they have, but just wait and the tamale lady will come in and these tamales are delicious! Did I mention it was on Bar Rescue? Sorry, no pics. I'll add next time I'm there“
“Has a simple family owned feeling. Probably the best Mexican food I've had in a long time if not ever. The magonado was an exceptional and unique margarita. I'd recommend this place to anyone who finds themselves in the area, but it's also worth the drive if you're not in the area.“
“Had an awesome time with friends watching Charlie Bravo last night. Robbie, our bartender, provided excellent customer service the entire night. Because of our positive overall customer experience, my friends and I shall return. Way to go, Robbie (The Joker)! Recognition is definitely warranted!“
“I Have been going to SANTA'S NIGHT CLUB SINCE 1992 WHEN I MOVED DOWN FROM CC...THEY MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME A NICE PLACE TO ENJOY YOURSELF NO DISCRIMINATION AT ALL COME ENJOY YOURSELF THEY HAVE GREAT KARAOKE WITH MRS.DEE DEE & HER HUSBAND..COME SEE FOR YOURSELF..THURSDAY N SUNDAY NIGHTS STARTING AT 8..PM.........MRS.KELLYDietary restrictions: No restrictions but they have some darn good wings..“
“I will definitely be coming back. This will be MY bar from now on. From the minute you walk in you can feel the friendliness and the Good Vibes. The bartender David (Primo) is very friendly and delivers exceptional customer service. He went out of his way to prepare a special drink for me that he had never heard of and it was great! He and his wife continued to check on me throughout the night. The DJ is awesome and plays a wide variety of music. He will play any songs that you request as well (if he has them) There's a Pool Table, there's Darts, there's Karaoke on Saturday nights. There's outdoor seating. But what I love the most was that it's a simple bar where you can feel comfortable enjoy yourself listen to music dance and make awesome friends. At Nite Owls Bar they make you feel like family!“
“Great bar to relax at, always a laid back atmosphere, decent prices on the drinks. The food is jus regular bar stuff they can throw in the microwave so nothing crazy there but we came for drinks not food lol. It is a smoking bar tho so if you cant handle the tobacco smell dont do it to “
“I highly recommend Destiny's. ICE COLD BEER AT GREAT PRICES! It is truly a neighborhood bar with clientele that are not only friends but more like family. Great place to watch games, lots of TVs. Owners & Customers give back to the community ten fold. Halloween was unbelievable 500 hotdogs, chips & candy for all the neighborhood kids.“
“Family!! This is what you can expect once you walk through the saloon style doors. Not only is the staff friendly, but even the patrons make you feel like they have known you forever. Pool games, drinks, and great conversations can be found here.“
“When I walked in I was unimpressed with a shotgun style room with little bar space. But they won me over pretty quickly. The bartender was really, really attentive and efficient, two traits one should value from a bartender. He jumped on drinks and when the bar was a little packed to get them to us easily he was around the bar handing them out before we knew it. He also rounded up empties and moved a table to make drinking-while-darting easier for us (without anyone asking)! They have two digital dart board setups, pool tables, table shuffleboard, even a hoops game. Everything required quarters or cash, which I don't carry and I didn't see an ATM. Not surprisingly it was easy as can be with the bartender; he threw the dollars on the tab and off we were to darts. Everyone there seemed pretty nice and into having fun. This was a Saturday night after a movie with bowl games on. Plenty of TV viewing whether at the bar or playing games.“
“Personnel that somebody ended up sitting in his seat or a drink was placed when he went to go grab a drink for his partner the lady that ended up sitting in the seat call me after you leave her partner said that I was not rude when I asked her to leave even though his partner her partner said he was not rude and still because there were no signs seating he had no rights security said he had no rights and kicked that gentleman out“
“My dream since I was a young 17 year old soldier and my partner and buddyas wellI swear me Arty are having more fun .Bucket list 1 checked off.come on over drink a ice cold beer or BYOB .Anyways we do have fun .So come drink laugh and be happyThx a million to our customers they really do make it pleasent to serve youThxRandy“
“Got there a little early, 3pm. Looks large enough. Noticed several dart games along the walls. Was hoping for a good Chicago brew like I remember (Old Style, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, etc.) but only brand names or regional. I was drawn there because their "Cubs" logo can be seen from the road. It was on my bucket list to stop in; and I did and enjoyed a frosty can of Pabst! There is a red food truck parked out front which boasts Chicago-style food. Now THAT is on my 'to-do' list...“
