“We just moved here to st hedwig and I found this local restaurant, I wanted to try their breakfast after reading the positive reviews and they did not disappoint. We stopped quickly to get 4 bacon egg and bean tacos to go, my husband who is really picky loved them and so did I. The tacos were so delicious along with the beans, the tortilla was very soft. I definitely want to come here again to dine in ?

“Stopped by here for breakfast, had never been here before, decided to try it out. I had 3 different breakfast tacos. My wife had the chilaquiles plate. Both were good! When I go to a Mexican restaurant, I like to try the salsas. They had 3 to choose from, the red, green and whitish one (thinking its a Chipotle flavor). All 3 were good. The Chipotle one has a kick for those that like some heat. Gonna stop by again and try the lunch menu next time!“

“althought the food is great service is not, this was our 3rd time going as its conveniently close to our church,but defenitly will be last, and each time it took at least 15 mins to even have anyone come to at least take our drink order, this time we had to go up to owner and ask if we could get a waitress and she stated she would go as soon as she was done with the drive threw and the front register all whole 1 girl stood around making chip basket and another organizing decor shelves, on top of the fact for 2 tacos and a coffee new special breakfast cost is almost $9 now before 10 am“

“We stopped by Teka Molino around 11am on a weekday and had a really great experience. I ordered the Carne Guisada breakfast plate, which came with fried potatoes, refried beans, and tortillas. The carne guisada was tender, flavorful, and easily one of my favorite things we tried.
We also got their famous Bean Cup and a Puffy Taco. The Bean Cup looks tiny and simple, but it was surprisingly delicious. The Puffy Taco was another highlight — perfectly fried, crispy and light rather than greasy, and honestly pretty cute too!
This is a casual counter-service spot: you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the dining area was spacious, bright, and very clean.
What I also liked was how local the place felt. Even though we were there around 11am in the middle of the week, people kept coming in for breakfast and lunch. It definitely felt like a neighborhood favorite rather than somewhere that exists mainly for tourists.
Everything was reasonably priced, portions were satisfying.“

Friendly staff and the food is very tasty. The chips and salsa were so good. Salsa was warmed up. The green salsa is on point too. Nice and spicy. Food came out fast and hot. “The Spinach Omelete is my favorite and is always cooked to perfection. I usually add jalapeño and mushrooms. Unfortunately, after waiting, I had to choose another dish as they were out of Spinach? It happens I guess.

So I chose their Machado plate as a last resort and was pleased with my meal. I've had their Menudo in the past and it's very tasty as well....lol, I probably should have just ordered that, but it wasn't the weekend yet.“

“imagine our surprise when we went for an early dinner and had to pay $1.99 for a bowl of chips! the waiter brought 2 bowls to our table when we arrived. if we'd known you had to pay for them we probably wouldn't have gotten any. “After experiencing horrible service from BJ’s next door we came to Chilis. This chilis ALWAYS provides amazing and friendly service!! Our waitress for Easter (04/05/2026) was also the bartender. She was absolutely on top of her section and the bar!! She was very sweet and hard working. She provided us amazing service and for that we were very thankful for her. Food was delicious and the drinks were also top tier. We love chilis and love the environment and staff at this specific chilis. Our waitress definitely should get a raise! We loved her energy. :) She made our bad night (after BJs horrible experience) into a great one. Never stray away from chilis!! 5/5 stars!“

“I gave four stars only because the food didn't really taste fresh. I'm not saying it was bad but it seemed like it was warmed back up. Like I said it wasn't bad, but the tortillas were the worst. I opened the tortillas and they were hot fresh and super soft but after like 2 mins they got hard and kinda crunchy 🤷. The staff was nice.“

Had a great meal , my soft chicken tacos were delicious ..My husband had enchiladas , he liked them ..just not crazy about carne Guisada gravy on them . “Had a wonderful breakfast here. Whoever is making their tortillas now is on point!! They were soft and fluffy like welita/ grandma use to make. The refried beans were delicious. Everything else was good too but I really enjoyed the great tortillas.

“I've been coming to this location of El Chaparral for over a decade. I enjoy the ambiance, the decor, the upbeat piped-in music, the food. Today I had lunch as part of a party of 8. Complimentary chips and salsa were brought out, including free refills. Each of us also received a little bowl of complimentary borracho beans. I ordered Pancho Villas Chicken Enchiladas. They came with Spanish rice and refried beans and complimentary flour tortillas. Although the food was good, it easily could have used some hot sauce. I would order it again... with hot sauce. Food and service are usually very good. I trust the restaurant's history and reputation. I would recommend this place.“

“Their business hours are odd, they close very early, like 3 PM but offer dinner items. The place is very simple but it’s kept clean. The service is ok, not very friendly but they do a great job, it’s just not a great interaction but that’s ok. The food is good, nothing crazy, been here quite a few times because of how close it is, but we have never had any complaints. It’s a good place for a casual bite to eat.“

1. Everything we ordered was spot on! The chips and salsa/guac were phenomenal! The chips were so good! They were so fresh! The guac in my opinion was done just right! Not too salty just right!

The flauta was crispy and well done!

The frozen margarita drinks were super good and very strong.

2. Prices during happy hours are very good!
