“We just moved here to st hedwig and I found this local restaurant, I wanted to try their breakfast after reading the positive reviews and they did not disappoint. We stopped quickly to get 4 bacon egg and bean tacos to go, my husband who is really picky loved them and so did I. The tacos were so delicious along with the beans, the tortilla was very soft. I definitely want to come here again to dine in ?

“Never did I thought that in the 13 years that I’ve been in this country I’d find something so close to home! This Tex-Mex restaurant had more Mex than Tex. It is the MOST authentic food I’ve eaten and brought me back to my childhood. The prices are good, the food is delicious, the service is decent. “althought the food is great service is not, this was our 3rd time going as its conveniently close to our church,but defenitly will be last, and each time it took at least 15 mins to even have anyone come to at least take our drink order, this time we had to go up to owner and ask if we could get a waitress and she stated she would go as soon as she was done with the drive threw and the front register all whole 1 girl stood around making chip basket and another organizing decor shelves, on top of the fact for 2 tacos and a coffee new special breakfast cost is almost $9 now before 10 am“

“Where do I even begin? I stopped in for what I thought would be a quick cocktail, then figured I'd grab a small bite. That quickly turned into ordering a little of this and a little of that—and wow, I'm so glad it did!

“Atmosphere is always hot. they have poor ventilation. The AC they have is not very cold and they have very little fans blowing. I no longer eat inside because it’s too hot. food is very good. Tortillas are good. Homemade I pick up all my orders to go.“

“I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Teka Molino on Eighth Street in San Antonio! From the moment I was greeted by Victor. I felt welcomed and well taken care of.
There are so many food options — perfect for bringing the whole family! I chose the tacos and was pleasantly surprised — they reminded me of the authentic Mexican food I used to enjoy at my best friend’s home during college breaks. The salsa brought back memories of her mom’s cooking, and the chicken was exceptional — moist, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.
But honestly, the best part was the service. Victor and Heri went above and beyond to make the experience special.

“The Spinach Omelete is my favorite and is always cooked to perfection. I usually add jalapeño and mushrooms. Unfortunately, after waiting, I had to choose another dish as they were out of Spinach? It happens I guess.

So I chose their Machado plate as a last resort and was pleased with my meal. I've had their Menudo in the past and it's very tasty as well....lol, I probably should have just ordered that, but it wasn't the weekend yet.“

“This is our first time coming here. Small restaurant and small parking lot, but it looks like there may be additional parking in a big lot adjacent to the restaurant. The restaurant is small, not too many tables, but they accommodate large families by putting tables together. They also have a few booths. My husband and I visited and the food was so delicious. The salsa and house-made chips was good. I ordered shrimp enchiladas with a verde sauce. My husband ordered the carnita burrito. It came with rice and beans. The refried beans were authentic and rice was very good. She waitress was so sweet. The portions are big and the price is very affordable. It was only my husband and I. With our meal and two drinks it was only $35. Don't let this little place fool you. The food is so good!“

“After experiencing horrible service from BJ’s next door we came to Chilis. This chilis ALWAYS provides amazing and friendly service!! Our waitress for Easter (04/05/2026) was also the bartender. She was absolutely on top of her section and the bar!! She was very sweet and hard working. She provided us amazing service and for that we were very thankful for her. Food was delicious and the drinks were also top tier. We love chilis and love the environment and staff at this specific chilis. Our waitress definitely should get a raise! “This is my old neighborhood but never saw this place before . I live in Kirby . Had a great meal , my soft chicken tacos were delicious ..My husband had enchiladas , he liked them ..just not crazy about carne Guisada gravy on them . It should be homemade enchilada sauce , Traditional .. I hope that changes ..We still enjoyed it n will return ..Loved the service . T you .“

“Had a wonderful breakfast here. Whoever is making their tortillas now is on point!! They were soft and fluffy like welita/ grandma use to make. The refried beans were delicious. Everything else was good too but I really enjoyed the great tortillas.

“imagine our surprise when we went for an early dinner and had to pay $1.99 for a bowl of chips! the waiter brought 2 bowls to our table when we arrived. if we'd known you had to pay for them we probably wouldn't have gotten any. “I'm new to San Antonio and my area of town. I don't think I got here soon enough. This restaurant was busy but not crazy. And the food was very tasty. The icing on the cake was the mariachi band. I LOVE THEM! And how often do you get a customer that sings along. Great place.

“This is a staple for me. I adore their chilaquiles tacos. Also, their puffy, ground beef tacos rock. If I’m not able to go there at least once a week, my stomach gets very sad. The staff is always friendly, and the food comes out fast every time. My only complaint is everyone else likes it too so if I don’t go early, it can be hard to find a parking spot.“

“Their business hours are odd, they close very early, like 3 PM but offer dinner items. The place is very simple but it’s kept clean. The service is ok, not very friendly but they do a great job, it’s just not a great interaction but that’s ok. The food is good, nothing crazy, been here quite a few times because of how close it is, but we have never had any complaints. It’s a good place for a casual bite to eat.“

“Been coming to this location for years. Seems like every week. Tacos are the best! Prices are reasonable and their member specials are legit. I have never had any issues....until yesterday.

Went through the drive thru, ordered 7 tacos. When the cashier told me my total, it seemed low, but she repeated the order and it was correct. When I was given my taco bag, I looked at the receipt and they didn't acknowledge two of the tacos I had ordered and charged me for something I did not order. Again, I ordered 7 tacos, but I was only charged for 5, only 5 were in the bag, and one of them was not what I had ordered.

I went inside to correct the issue and was told I needed to speak to the manager. I was met by Steven, the MOD. After I explained what happened ,he went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of and that I had received my correct order.
