“We just moved here to st hedwig and I found this local restaurant, I wanted to try their breakfast after reading the positive reviews and they did not disappoint. We stopped quickly to get 4 bacon egg and bean tacos to go, my husband who is really picky loved them and so did I. The tacos were so delicious along with the beans, the tortilla was very soft. I definitely want to come here again to dine in ?

“The Spinach Omelete is my favorite and is always cooked to perfection. I usually add jalapeño and mushrooms. Unfortunately, after waiting, I had to choose another dish as they were out of Spinach? It happens I guess.

So I chose their Machado plate as a last resort and was pleased with my meal. I've had their Menudo in the past and it's very tasty as well....lol, I probably should have just ordered that, but it wasn't the weekend yet.“

“I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Teka Molino on Eighth Street in San Antonio! From the moment I was greeted by Victor. I felt welcomed and well taken care of.
There are so many food options — perfect for bringing the whole family! I chose the tacos and was pleasantly surprised — they reminded me of the authentic Mexican food I used to enjoy at my best friend’s home during college breaks. The salsa brought back memories of her mom’s cooking, and the chicken was exceptional — moist, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.
But honestly, the best part was the service. Victor and Heri went above and beyond to make the experience special.

“So, I picked up some pork tamales and were a bit toastier more than I like them… let them know, hopefully not get someone worked up. Instead, spoke to the sweetest manager and was able to get my problem resolved! With some amazin Carne Guisada with cheese tacos and fresh lemonade! Best customer service at this location off TPC. I was very surprised and pleased with the outcome. Like warm welcomes and great food I strongly recommend you go see Sofia at Las Palapas! Great job!“

“Went through the drive thru 5/30 and Blair was working. She was awesome. She is the epitome of how service should be. The food is great but again Blair made the food taste better just by her service!!! Definitely 5-stars and she deserves the kudos. It’s is hard to find someone who is enthusiastic at work nowadays. “imagine our surprise when we went for an early dinner and had to pay $1.99 for a bowl of chips! the waiter brought 2 bowls to our table when we arrived. if we'd known you had to pay for them we probably wouldn't have gotten any. I'm sure the Barrios can afford corn tortillas for making chips without charging $1.99 for a small bowl of them. highly disappointed. corn tortillas are cheap“

“This place has been on my list for years. I can definitely say it was worth the wait! Few things that could be better is using fries for huevos ranchero plate. They were good just usually like cut potatoes with my plate. The other was the restrooms situation being that there's only 2 restrooms right in the dining room. Besides that everything was perfect. The tortillas are 100% amazing 😍
My over medium eggs were executed perfectly. The beans, bacon, fries were really good. For a few extra dollars I had a side of carne guisada. The carne guisada is so tender and the gravy has so much flavor! With all this food I could only eat half of my plate. My son had the mini tacos. They were ridiculously tasty! With good size pieces of meat, covered in melted cheese and grilled onion. Both hot sauces were tasty but hot be careful. And finally the lemonade and the Arnold Palmer hit the spot! The service was very kind and patiently made recommendations for us 1st timers! We will definitely be back.“

“The grilled shrimp basket. Shrimp were jumbo and grilled to perfection. The veggies and salad were fresh and crisp. The shell was of pastry quality. My family enjoyed the meals. Grandson just graduated from medic school at Fort Bluss and had been recommended to the Charo Mexican Grill. My daughter and husband enjoyed their lunch as well.“

“Had a wonderful breakfast here. Whoever is making their tortillas now is on point!! They were soft and fluffy like welita/ grandma use to make. The refried beans were delicious. Everything else was good too but I really enjoyed the great tortillas.

Had a great meal , my soft chicken tacos were delicious ..My husband had enchiladas , he liked them ..just not crazy about carne Guisada gravy on them . “I gave four stars only because the food didn't really taste fresh. I'm not saying it was bad but it seemed like it was warmed back up. Like I said it wasn't bad, but the tortillas were the worst. I opened the tortillas and they were hot fresh and super soft but after like 2 mins they got hard and kinda crunchy 🤷. The staff was nice.“

“Been coming to this location for years. Seems like every week. Tacos are the best! Prices are reasonable and their member specials are legit. I have never had any issues....until yesterday.

Went through the drive thru, ordered 7 tacos. When the cashier told me my total, it seemed low, but she repeated the order and it was correct. When I was given my taco bag, I looked at the receipt and they didn't acknowledge two of the tacos I had ordered and charged me for something I did not order. Again, I ordered 7 tacos, but I was only charged for 5, only 5 were in the bag, and one of them was not what I had ordered.

I went inside to correct the issue and was told I needed to speak to the manager. I was met by Steven, the MOD. After I explained what happened ,he went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of and that I had received my correct order.

“Their business hours are odd, they close very early, like 3 PM but offer dinner items. The place is very simple but it’s kept clean. The service is ok, not very friendly but they do a great job, it’s just not a great interaction but that’s ok. The food is good, nothing crazy, been here quite a few times because of how close it is, but we have never had any complaints. It’s a good place for a casual bite to eat.“

“This is a staple for me. I adore their chilaquiles tacos. Also, their puffy, ground beef tacos rock. If I’m not able to go there at least once a week, my stomach gets very sad. The staff is always friendly, and the food comes out fast every time. My only complaint is everyone else likes it too so if I don’t go early, it can be hard to find a parking spot.“
