“Great location with friendly staff. We ordered the calamari (seasoned well with a nice crunch) combo with fish and shrimp (fish was flavorful and crispy but the shrimp had a “fishy taste”. Also didn’t realize until we left that my hush puppies were missing) The Caddo (very flavorful! If you don’t like things saucy this isn’t the dish for you).

There are many locations so we will definitely be checking them out again.”

“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed brunch today to celebrate Valentine’s Day. My husband had the Texan Omelette and a biscuit on the side and I had the Southern Benny. Both dishes were outstanding. I had the jalapeño grits with my meal and they were really delicious. This was our first time to come to J. Macklin’s for brunch and I look forward to our next visit. Our server was Cameron. He knew everything we asked about the dishes, he was friendly and very attentive. We will be asking for Cameron on our next visit. Great job Cameron and J. Macklin’s!”

She takes time to understand what we love, and gave suggestions on some of the best wines to taste. We tried a variety of wines- red, white, dessert and special editions! Every single choice is fantastic! Chris Mayhan is a lovely person and gave us a wonderful experience! We are coming back and got some bottles to take home as well! Btw, another last thing about this place is to try as a couple hands on lessons in the art of blending wine! Fun and fun! Highly recommend this place!”

The American coffee is excellent. Very classy unobtrusive service before even being asked for. Returning over and over. The place for us for deserved rewards and a place to unwind.”

Another thing I really love is the price — definitely more affordable compared to other boba shops, but the quality is even better. Such a great value!

“I have tried every flavor that Pie Crush makes. ALL of her pies and cobblers are delicious, never too sweet, and her butter crust is amazing. I have consumed a lot of pie in my life and Pie Crush is the only one I am seriously addicted to. 😁 I’ve never been a pecan pie lover because I’ve always found them to be two sweet. “Wonderful food my husband and I frequent this place however my last experience tonight, was bad the staff is rude and unprofessional. One team member in general was cussing the whole time we dined in bashing the place tell another customer he liked working here because it was never busy and he could do what he wanted. That was all after I asked for my sauce on side as to not make my biscuit soggy (which I know happens from experience) he said it won’t get soggy but whatever.”

“I have only the most amazing things to say about this Starbucks, they have continued to treat me like I’m a part of the family, have always made me laugh, went through my pregnancy with me, understood that I wasn’t allowed to have a lot of caffeine, so they just took care of me. The whole team is outstanding. They go above and beyond. They all make a mean Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino, or a Green Tea Frappuccino. I usually do not like to write bad reviews and the intent if this one is not to be negative.Today however I had a unique experience .After ordering for delivery , after 79 minutes of waiting I get a message that my order has been cancelled and to contact the store.Upon doing so I have been told that my order was given to the Doordash driver and I should contact Doordash to see what is going on. Well that portion drove me nuts to be honest. I completely understand that delivery can be missed, it happened before and though uncomfortable because I was hungry, I actually never got mad.Today however a line was crossed. As a customer, when I pay 20 $ overall for a small salad, I am expecting Salada to track their own drivers.I did not order from Doordash. I ordered from Salata. Please understand that if I ordered delivery it probably means that I , as a customer don’t have time to track drivers who do not feel like working. Thank you very much for your understanding and let’s reset our asymmetric relationship! O btw this is not about $20 and not about low glycemy, this is about a working ethics concept.Thank you , Sorin”
