“I visited this Panda last week Saturday and Sunday.(9/8&9/9) This lady,I first interacted with was magnificent and greeted me .I didn't get her name, but she was short, polynesian/ Asian. She was serving the rice and noodles. The line was long and she perfected her job. She directed 2 separate lines; one line for customers waiting to pay ,and the other line for ordering. She had a system. My flight was delayed and came back on Sunday. This time she was working harder. The line was longer than Saturday. I sat at the bar watching this woman work. I felt bad for her because she did not receive help from her co-workers. I am a restaurant owner ,and I would like to compliment her hard work. I heard several customers complimenting her such as " You're a super woman" , "You're doing it all" , "Wow, you're fast", " Are you by yourself?", " They should be helping you"... “New to flower mound and was craving Chinese (first trimester!). Ordered wonton soup, hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, and honey walnut shrimp! I’ve now gotten 3 meals out of those 4 things (and I eat a lot) and still have half my shrimp and 2/3 of the hot and sour soup left! Needless to say, I’m not kind of obsessed because everything is SO good so I will definitely be back and maybe let my family sample the deliciousness! “The selection here isn’t very big, but the quality looks really good! The owner is super polite and friendly.
I ordered the malatang with a mild spice level. The broth had this rich, nutty sesame sauce flavor that reminded me so much of the malatang I used to have in Beijing.
The vegetables looked incredibly fresh, and the only meat option was beef. The beef was pre portioned and packaged, so you can just grab whatever you want. I especially loved the purple and white strip-shaped rice cakes. They had cheese inside, but somehow weren’t greasy or heavy at all. The pumpkin was also soft, starchy, and delicious.
The malatang doesn’t come with rice. Rice is $2 per serving.
The restaurant itself was also super clean. Honestly, I think the taste was even better than every malatang place I’ve tried in Dallas so far.“

“My friends and I had such a delicious dinner here! We shared the cucumber salad, soup dumplings, pan fried combination dumplings, and chili oil dumplings. Our waitress was VERY kind and let us taste test a new dish of spicy pork noodles that we will definitely be coming back to eat again!!“

“This place doesn't look like much but it was amazing! It should be packed but it wasn't. I think that was due to a new food hall in the adjacent parking lot. Forget the food hall. Eat at Royal Wok.

Atmosphere: The outside is awful- run down and in need of a renovation badly. Just walk past that and into the oriental garden entrance. Once you get inside, everything changes. While a little dated, the decoration transports you to a Chinese garden with wall murals and traditional displays. Also, everything was super clean, which is a major plus in my book.

Service: There were two ladies running the front of the restaurant who were so nice. Our drinks were always refilled and they asked over and over again if we needed anything. The service could not get any better.

Food: Everything was fresh and piping hot. We ordered the wonton soup, pu pu platter, chicken fried rice, and happy family. The soup was delicious and came with a side of Asian bread sticks(?). The pu pu platter was a beautiful display of appetizers with real fire. The chicken fried rice was full of chicken and veggies. The happy family filled the plate, came with a side of fried rice, and made everyone at the table happy.

Five stars overall. Ignore the outside of the building: the food will be worth it.“

“I’ve been coming here since 2015, and after more than a decade it is still one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently fresh and beautifully prepared. The ginger dressing is hands-down the best I’ve ever had, the vegetables are perfectly cooked, and even the jasmine rice with toasted black sesame seeds shows the attention to detail they put into every meal. The staff is warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Today they refilled my miso soup without me asking and even boxed my leftovers for me at the table—something I usually only experience in fine dining restaurants. And all of that, including iced tea, came to under $17. This place is an absolute gem.“

“Really good food! We got the pork fried rice, Singapore noodles, chicken broccoli and orange chicken. The fried rice was simple with just the rice, pork, bean sprouts and green onion which I actually really enjoy. It’s not loaded down with filler veggies. The Singapore noodles were good with just a bit of spice to them. We all agreed the chicken broccoli was the best. My husband said the orange chicken was good and not overly sweet. We couldn’t find any current menu or prices so we grabbed a current menu to go.“

Lets get one thing straight. This is NOT a gas station food stall. It is a restaurant sharing floor space with a gas station. It has its own staff, seating, and has a devider marking the cut off between the restaurant and convenience store sides in the form of a thick glass block wall between the registers.

The food itself is excellent. And by that I mean there was a lot of it. The spicyness was very mild, even with their cilli paste, but it is still good. But dear God... The portion...
I have a black hole for a stomach, yet I could not finish my tso's chicken in a single sitting. There is simply so much chicken. How on earth are they able to give me so much? I only paid $12! It isn't even thickly breaded. The breading was so thin yet so crunchy.

TLDR If you are like me and care about getting your moneys worth, this place is perfect. You could probably feed two people for just $11.90 (after tax).“

I walked in for a late lunch, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here! The staff was so kind to let me taste a couple flavors before making my selection.
Every ingredient was fresh and delicious! I selected the single plate Kung Pao Chicken, and the total was less than $10. The portions are enough to last for two meals!

“Pixiu is my go to malatang place and nowhere else competes for me! I usually get the level 1 spice, but I might get level 2 the next time because I’ve realized that it isn’t spicy enough for me. Great selection of vegetables and other foods. The front lady is also very nice. There are also a lot of seats inside.“

“Pretty standard American Chinese food. It's made fresh, when you order it, aside from the side of rice that comes with entrees. The prices are reasonable and the portions are decent. We've been here for takeout twice now. We haven't tried swapping in noodles instead of rice on the entrees yet, but if we can without a fuss, this place may be a solid 5 stars for us.“

“Stopped by for lunch and had a really good experience! The restaurant was clean and had a nice, welcoming vibe. They had plenty of employees working, so the service was quick and efficient, especially compared to their other nearby location.
