I would recommend the Edamame, Orange Chicken, Dynasty Shrimp, Multi-Colored Dumplings (I know it sounds weird but it tastes amazing), The atmosphere in peaceful, and the wooden tables really bring a different energy to the experience. The waitress routinely came to check on us, and made sure we were enjoying our food. She even gave us updates on our food that hadn’t arrived yet. Highly recommend. A little tip, if you get any boba tea, mix a little to move the ice around the drink.“

“I visited this Panda last week Saturday and Sunday.(9/8&9/9) This lady,I first interacted with was magnificent and greeted me .I didn't get her name, but she was short, polynesian/ Asian. She was serving the rice and noodles. The line was long and she perfected her job. She directed 2 separate lines; one line for customers waiting to pay ,and the other line for ordering. She had a system. My flight was delayed and came back on Sunday. This time she was working harder. The line was longer than Saturday. I sat at the bar watching this woman work. I felt bad for her because she did not receive help from her co-workers. I am a restaurant owner ,and I would like to compliment her hard work. I heard several customers complimenting her such as " You're a super woman" , "You're doing it all" , "Wow, you're fast", " Are you by yourself?", " They should be helping you"... This lady continued serving. I hope she gets recognized , she is good. It is hard to find good workers nowadays. Thank you Lady for serving me,and may God bless you.“

“This is the best malatang restaurant in Dallas. The owner is always kind and welcoming, and the spice level is just right. I highly recommend ordering the malatang with sweet and sour fried pork (guobaorou) on the side. It’s a great combination!“

“The soup buns used to be amazing!!!! That was one of the man reasons I would go, however in the last few months they haven’t been as tasty…like they water down or removed seasoning from the soup base. No deep flavor like it used to have.

Regular food menu is really good. Everything on the menu I’ve had so far including the Dan Dan noodles have great flavor.

Lets get one thing straight. This is NOT a gas station food stall. It is a restaurant sharing floor space with a gas station. It has its own staff, seating, and has a devider marking the cut off between the restaurant and convenience store sides in the form of a thick glass block wall between the registers.

The food itself is excellent. And by that I mean there was a lot of it. The spicyness was very mild, even with their cilli paste, but it is still good. But dear God... The portion...
I have a black hole for a stomach, yet I could not finish my tso's chicken in a single sitting. There is simply so much chicken. How on earth are they able to give me so much? I only paid $12! It isn't even thickly breaded. The breading was so thin yet so crunchy.

TLDR If you are like me and care about getting your moneys worth, this place is perfect. You could probably feed two people for just $11.90 (after tax).“

“I wanted Panda Express but didn't want to drive that far so I decided to try Grand Wok.

I ordered a two item plate with fried rice and chow mein with general tsao chicken and kung pao chicken.

I can tell you that when you pick up the bag with the plate, it is much heavier.

Food itself was pretty good, definitely not bad. General tsao chicken had more chicken than I expected which was a plus. Very sweet and not spicy as I had thought. Kung pao chicken was good and if you like celery, you will like it since they add a lot of it.

The only blah was the chow mein. It is just noodles coated with some sauce but very bland.

I would eat here again. Price was cheaper than Panda Express and they definitely give you 50% more than Panda Express.“

“I wanted to flame this place for taking 2 hours for my food on Christmas Day after telling me I could pick it up in 30 minutes, but unfortunately I waited and tasted what i had ordered. If you are a fan of American style Chinese food you will be disappointed. But if you like spicy, flavorful, freshly made food this is your place. The egg roll and crab rangoons were meh. The goat dry bowl I savored over 3 days just to enjoy it more. Pineapple shrimp rice was made with fresh pineapple. The glutinous rice was a perfect way to end the meal. I will be returning to dine in person and will know for the future to double the time given for take out orders.“

“Been coming here since I was a kid — over 16 years of memories here. The food still tastes amazing, and the staff is always so welcoming. At this point, it feels like my second cafeteria because I come here every week. It honestly feels like home. They have the best crawfish and Mongolian grill around, the chicken sticks are huge and juicy, and the cheese wontons are always stuffed and fresh. The fruit bar, salad bar, and sushi are always fresh too, and they’ll even make custom sushi if you ask. The restaurant is always clean, and they seriously have some of the nicest and cleanest restrooms ever. Definitely one of my favorite comfort spots.“

“Pixiu is my go to malatang place and nowhere else competes for me! I usually get the level 1 spice, but I might get level 2 the next time because I’ve realized that it isn’t spicy enough for me. Great selection of vegetables and other foods. The front lady is also very nice. There are also a lot of seats inside.“

My go to place now, I was very surprised at the freshness and flavor. This is not regular chop suey mambo jambo old tasting Chinese food. Nor is it oily..I've so far tried the garlic chicken and was soooo good. Wonton chicken and shrimp soup and beef egg rolls. I love that they have a non pork wonton.
Everyone with bad reviews is weird or maybe has their reasons but I'm very keen about taste and quality..and I rate this place on their game! Prices and portions are extremely fair.“
