“This place is awesome!!! Great fresh, food!!. People are super nice and friendly!!
I had the baked salmon roll and tempura combo. The roll just melts in your mouth with some delicious sweet yet savory after taste. The tempura was crispy and cooked very well. We also had the California roll, and the dragon roll. Along with egg rolls and gyoza. Yummmy 🥰🥰🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Had fried squid for an appetizer. Some of the better fried squid I’ve had in a while. I’d say it was better than Mr Max.

Had the sushi and ramen for my lunch entree. Sushi had a nice presentation and tasted great. Nigiri was on the small side (both rice and fish). The ramen portion, on the other hand, was pretty big. The slices of pork had a deep, smoky, rich flavor. The half egg on top was hard boiled not soft boiled. Something was a bit off with the noodle texture, perhaps a little overcooked?“

“I love Kanzi, it’s my favorite sushi place in Dallas! The inside is very nice and the atmosphere is great! They have outdoor seating too, and it’s nice that if you’re sitting outside you have a view of the lake. The servers are very friendly and helpful, and the food is among the best I have eaten here in Dallas. They also have some unique rolls, and the prices are very good for the quality. They also have an assortment of delicious hibachi meals, and even scallops that are a very good deal for the price, and taste amazing too! The location is very pretty, and when you finish eating you can always take a walk by the lake!“

“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! “The food is always great here; yet - service is lacking..... especially from the bar. It takes FOREVER to get drinks. By the time my friend received her cocktail,... we had already finished dinner! “My favorite sushi place so far! The ambiance and decorations are really cute. We walked in and were sat in less than 2 minutes. The owner/manager greeted us and was really involved throughout the restaurant with the servers. We ordered tempura and 3 sushi rolls. “Tried a poke bowl for the first time here. I went with one of their pre set poke bowls. Pleasantly surprised with the amount of fish that they gave me.

Overall the taste was just okay. I think I’ll blame it on the combination of toppings/sauce just didn’t blend well in my opinion. Pricing was pretty reasonable. I think if I go back I’ll choose my own blend of toppings.

The food was absolutely amazing however, we didn't try many of the rolls due to lack of pictures of them & uncertainty about if we'd like them based off just a list of ingredients. They did inform us we were not going to be seated together but it being last minute we were okay with it. They sat us in booths next to each other. Two different waitresses.
