“It was my first time eating at Tejas Birria and I was NOT disappointed at all. The tacos were amazing! From the seasoning to the size of them and the cilantro/onion portions, I was blown away. A lot of limes and a good amount of salsa were also included. I don’t know why I took this long to try Tejas Birria. Likewise, it truly is a local family business. I had the pleasure to meet the family who founded Tejas Birria and they are truly invested in sharing a quality meal and service with everyone. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AND ANY OTHER TEJAS BIRRIA LOCATION.💯“

“I purchased 10 tacos with fajita meat. I was served on two separate plates, five tacos on each plate, and was surprised that she put cucumber and radish on top. Because I'd never really tried radish before I gave it a try, and learned that, no, I do not like radish. However, I really really enjoyed the sliced cucumber in my taco. You wouldn't think that it would work, but it did. The meat was marinated wonderfully, the tacos were absolutely delicious. The lady who took my order was very very nice. There were four tables available, but the wind was just so cold we couldn't really enjoy our food there. Otherwise, on a less windy warmer day, I think it would make a wonderful place for a picnic.“

“I just realize, as a patron of many years, I never reviewed this place. Best jerk chick in Austin. Tied for best shrimp tacos in Austin, and that bar is HIGH. And so help he if I dont order the corn fritters. And as a patron of many years, the food is consistent. They dont have bad days, the cook is consistent, the flavor is there.“

“Whoaaaa! Who knew?! This place is fantastic. The owner is so cordial and welcoming, I decided to give Saxx's Taco a try. I'm to glad* did.
I got the patty melt and it came with fries. You order at the counter of the restaurant and then pay at the cash register of the convenience store.
Everything is made to order by the owner. The mushrooms and onions were grill, the burger had good seasoning, and of course it was on Texas Toast.
Crinkle cut fries are my favorite and these did not disappoint. They were hot, crispy and well seasoned too.
The have plenty of options between burgers, tacos, and even have vegetarian options too.
Sometimes you just happen upon a place that outshines it's location, and Saxx's is an excellent example of what that means.“

“You must eat at this place! The people are friendly and the flavors are awesome. Pro tip: dip in the red sauce then the green. It’s so good and I really felt taken care of. I love this place!
I put 5 for atmosphere, even though it’s a food cart. I added that because the people are great and they’re great chefs too. I’m really satisfied with what I ate and I feel full and happy!
It’s also in the same parking lot as a store (Hula Hut) that has a great selection of beers and wines.
Also, the prices are really decent, particularly for the size of the tacos and other items!“

“I used to come here often but I’ve had to stop my almost weekly visits because the prices have just about doubled:( I get prices go up but to go from $5 to $9 Gorditas and charge a $1 fee for using your cc ! That’s ridiculous!!!! The food is great but I just can’t afford to come as often as I used to.“
