“I've lived here in the Cypress area for almost 2 years now and somehow missed this diamond. The food has to be one of the best in Houston. The ambiance was nice and relaxing. My waitress did amazing, gave great recommendations, and never let my water drop too low. Octopus is one of those things that's hard to get right, but here, the ly did it. The hibachi was amazing. The sushi was fresh. Everything i had cost $30! If you feel hungry and in need of some really good Asian food, I highly recommend coming here. I don't visit many places more than once, but I WILL be coming here again.”

“We recently visited the newly opened Carmelita’s Kitchen in Cypress, and it quickly became a favorite! From the moment we stepped onto the cozy patio, we loved the inviting and charming atmosphere. Inside, the décor is well thought out, creating a warm and welcoming vibe.
Our server, Ana, was incredibly attentive and polite throughout the meal. We started with coffee and a delicious tray of shrimp taquitos — a perfect appetizer. The brunch menu is impressive, and we decided to try the chilaquiles and Baja tacos. Both dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely flavorful. Each bite was a treat — well-prepared without being overdone.
For those who enjoy spicy flavors, their salsas pack a great kick! We can’t wait to return and try more dishes and the cocktails. We highly recommend our Cypress neighbors to check out this little gem — it’s definitely worth a visit!”

“Awesome little place! Very clean inside & the service was great! This was my first time here with my brother. First, they brought us some of the best Boracho beans that I’ve ever had! And they also brought us homemade chips that are fried their daily and some sauces and little squeeze bottles. You can dip your chips in the Barracho beans and they are so so good! My brother ordered the chimichanga and it was huge! He couldn’t even finish it and he’s a big guy. His chimichanga had shredded beef in it. I ordered the chilaquillas with fajita chicken on them & they were so incredible! I was sad I couldn’t finish them all! The service was top notch & the food was amazing. I will DEFINITELY be back.”

My drink had the fruit flavored popping boba in it, but with just a normal straw you get the squishy membrane before the fruity flavor. I don't know if boba straws were available or not, but if all they have for drinks, especially the ones with boba, is a normal straw, they need to change that. Everything else was pretty good, but boba included drinks need boba straws”

I was super impressed with the burger. The bun was awesome, the meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Had that little bit of char that tasted so good! We will DEFINITELY be going back. We get in line through the Tex-Mex insider app and it saves us time from having to wait. We wanted an outside table as it was gorgeous outside as fall has finally come to Texas. We were seated and Anthony was our server. He was attentive, personable and friendly. He was great about checking on us every few minutes. We ordered the shrimp empanadas as an appetizer. They were as delicious as usual. We were not in a hurry and we never felt rushed. We were content enjoying college football on the numerous screens around the bar. We ordered beef skirt fajitas and they did not disappoint. We will definitely be back and will request Anthony if he is available.”

As we approached the door to the Denny’s he turned looked at us and flashed two fingers from through the doors (confirming a table for 2). As we walked in he had the menus in hand and seated us right away. What service! He was on the ball while pleasant and efficient. For any management that may see this review, I highly recommend Sergio (was not provided a surname) for promotion. Great server! Go Sergio! The fact that I haven’t been to Denny’s in several years this was a great experience. Our chocolate pancake balls that we had as a snack were hot and fresh and super yummy. I told both managers on duty of this experiences.”

“Note that I’m a fan of Whataburger chain so my opinion is gonna be biased, but I’m putting it in the same realm as a review of fast food burger joints.
I encourage anyone to use the app to be able to gather points and rewards and I think it’s a faster way of ordering in today’s world because you either do it pick up curbside or go in and pick it up right there at the counter and it’s typically ready to go
The staff here were friendly, had smiles. Make sure that I was taken care of when I went to go pick in On the online pick it up inside the food was freshly prepared. If you could say that about fast food, it was hot. It tasted great as well made great experience clean interior clean exterior note that this Whataburger is right near Lonestar community college and also the very center so I can get busy after a sporting event so you have to be patient. It’s a prime location.

“Came here for lunch before a sales appointment at 12:45 PM today. I was accidentally given a regular Big Mac instead of the chicken Big Mac that I ordered. The lady working the front counter (I think her name was Ging) fixed it very quickly for me and came to check on me later to make sure everything was good. One word of warning the sauces are spicy so don't pour it on unless you really like spice. The pastor is one the best in town at a price that's much less than most other places.
Parking is a bit limited, but for a quick bite it's hard to beat.”

Every bite was perfect from the texture of the thick mozzarella to the non acidic perfectly seasoned sauce to the most important part to me....the crust. I stole my wife's crust handles to mop up some extra sauce and parmesan. We finished off with a Tiramisu and the limoncello cake and they were both amazing. We will be making this a regular stop in our dinner rotation feom now on because as you know.... if you are reading this review... it is very difficult to sort through the amount of pizza places in Houston to find one that is truly exceptional.”

“Tired of having to drive to Brother's Pizza for real pizza, I was excited to see this shop open up near my house. I went in and the place was empty. Nothing on the walls, no music, nothing... it was the most boring restaurant I've ever been to. But, I went for the food, not the atmosphere. I ordered a Greek salad and it was a good size. Nothing fancy but worth the low price. I also ordered a large cheese pizza. It was slightly undercooked and had about 2x the amount of cheese it needed. The crust was weird.. very dense and not fluffy. it's like the cook over worked the dough so it didn't rise properly. Then the pizza was cut into about 12 skinny slices, 6 would have been better. As someone who has made many pizzas I can tell these guys need some more practice. The best part of the pizza was the sauce. Not too sweet and had a good flavor. Did I like this place? Would I go back? Yes and yes... despite my minor criticisms it is still the best pizza in the area. Definitely beats Marcos, Howies, Pizza Hit, and Dominoes in quality and price. I'm confident the things I didn't like will all improve as the employees get more experience, provided the owner stays actively involved in the day to day operations. Give em a try if you are in the area.”

“Sxxxxx was our server and I have to say she’s really good at her job. She kept our table clear of trash and she kept our drinks full. Her head was in a swivel the whole time - so much so that I had to take her aside and tell her personally. It turns out she’s been with the company for five years. They helped put her through school. Whenever she leaves, the restaurant is certainly going to feel it.
The food was good - a nice mix of flats and drumsticks. This place charged us $1.49 for carrots and celery - I’m learning that these items are no longer “free”. However, for our buck fifty we got a whole lot of celery and carrots, unlike that other place I reviewed last week.
I would surely go back.”

“Awesome little place! Very clean inside & the service was great! This was my first time here with my brother. First, they brought us some of the best Boracho beans that I’ve ever had! And they also brought us homemade chips that are fried their daily and some sauces and little squeeze bottles. You can dip your chips in the Barracho beans and they are so so good! My brother ordered the chimichanga and it was huge! He couldn’t even finish it and he’s a big guy. His chimichanga had shredded beef in it. I ordered the chilaquillas with fajita chicken on them & they were so incredible! I was sad I couldn’t finish them all! The service was top notch & the food was amazing. I will DEFINITELY be back.”

“This is not our first trip to Gringo’s but it was the best trip yet. We ordered drinks at the bar to wait for our table. We get in line through the Tex-Mex insider app and it saves us time from having to wait. We wanted an outside table as it was gorgeous outside as fall has finally come to Texas. We were seated and Anthony was our server. He was attentive, personable and friendly. He was great about checking on us every few minutes. We ordered the shrimp empanadas as an appetizer. They were as delicious as usual. We were not in a hurry and we never felt rushed. We were content enjoying college football on the numerous screens around the bar.
