This was my first time visiting and the cashier was very polite. I ordered a baked potato, and it was very large and filling. There was not much flavor, but a little salt did the trick. The main issue for me was whatever type of shredded cheese they use. It must be cheap because it doesn't melt at all. Even after placing the potato in the oven for 20 minutes, no melt. Also, too much sauce for my liking.
love the food , my mom got some green beans which I don't usually eat but she ask me to try them and omg they were delicious, I love the potato the staff gave me hell about not wanted barbecue sauce, I love it the vibe is like mom and pop shop be ready for their peculiar sense of humor if you're over sensitive you might think of them as rude but to me is more like old fashion humor. just enjoy the food.

So I had not been in the neighborhood in a while and decided to stop by Odom's pretty much a staple in the West Dallas community well I was so disappointed it had been years since I been here I actually use to work right across the street so I was looking forward to it. WELL first of all BBQ is too expensive not to be done right. I ordered Chopped Beef Sandwich, East Texas Hotlinks and Loaded Stuffed Baked Potato.
