I saw the reviews on this place and knew I had to try it. Tonight I and my wife ordered 10 pc catfish filets and 12 pc shrimp, both came with fries, white bread dill pickle chips, and pickled jalapeños. The service was so good the man behind the counter (I wish I had asked his name) was so friendly and even brought our food out to our car once the order was fulfilled. Oh man.. they have some darn good catfish plates. The hushpuppies and fries were great too. I loved the service. Family type environment like I was talking to my uncles. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Hot and fresh made to order. I can't say enough nice things about this place. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Whiskers is the epitome of "hole in the wall". But I'll go as far as saying this, they have the best catfish in all of dfw. Food is always fresh, they give you a little more than what you buy. Their seasoning on the fish and color are perfect! We've never had a bad batch! No lies told....go see for yourself.
