“The food is good!The salad bar is good!The service is lacking, the female at the register is not the friendliest, she acts like she's doing us a favor to charge us for our food. She even asked how old the 'senior' person was.The restaurant is too cold inside. I informed the female at the register one day that it was way too cold in there, and she stated that they kept it cold because the back kitchen area where they fry the food gets too hot. But we have been so uncomfortable sitting in the dining room eating that we have to carry a jacket to wear inside, or go eat somewhere else. I think that's why the last 2 times we have been there, there have been less people inside dining. It seems that their carry out has gone up. Go figure!!!!We are/ were regular customers there, going at least once or twice a week.“
“Wow, I haven't eaten at a Hartz since I was a kid! It was a weekly deal for my family in AL until they became run down and dirty. This location could use some TLC, but the food doesn't!! I had forgotten how good the chicken and veggies are on the buffet! Service was great. I so wish Hartz could get a cash infusion and regrow the brand. It really is great food! The yeast rolls alone are worth the stop! Gonna start looking for Hartz locations again“
“Love this place! Crawfish is amazing but let me add that Thursday night Rib Eye Steak night is fabulous. The grilled catfish is super yum. But the hamburgers…oh boy just are awesome. I truly wish they would stay open year round and not seasonal because the other food on the menu I believe would sustain them year round. It’s a family friendly environment with helpful waitresses. We have never had bad food or bad service in the past 3 seasons we’ve been there.“
