“Food is amazing. The younger woman got our order wrong and once we got home realized it and decided to go back and just pay for a new meal. She got that wrong as well. I asked for fried rice on the side and she rings up just white rice. My attempts to get the right food shows you how good it is. I will be going there today and can't wait to have lunch. Just check your order before you leave if it is the young girl. They have the best egg rolls there and one of my favorite places to eat. I went at evening time/night on a Saturday a few weeks back when this happened....she was sweet though.“

“There could be either malice in the minds of those leaving bad reviews or just got a fluke experience. We’ve been taking-out from here 15+ years. Everything we get tastes good, and at a good value. The service is genuinely friendly and attentive. The portions are very generous. I get a quart size meal for myself ($12) and eat two or three times. Now it’s no Spicy Chen, but it’s good food for sure. Deer Park is blessed to have this little gem. Shame on anyone falsely tainting the efforts of an honest establishment.“

“Absolutely the best Chinese food in pasadena, and has been for a long time. Service is great, staff is friendly, and the lobster statue hanging on the second pillar in the building is literally my favorite decoration ever. I want one just like it.“

“Food is ALWAYS great! Most of their food is made fresh when you order it. The only thing I don't like is hot food served in a styrofoam container because it melts. The people are always very friendly. This place has been in business since I was a kid, and they are still killing it!“

First I came here had the vegetable soup. I'm so happy that I came here. The broth and veggies were amazing and a very fresh taste.
There were mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, scallions and more veggies. It's definitely was a vegan option and barely tasted the sodium.

Vegetarian options: There are at least 3 vegan/ vegetarian options.“

“I ordered a pepper steak dinner and chicken wings. The food is authentic and beyond full of flavor. I can't even begin to tell you how this food just made my heart warm. “Stopped here to get lunch for a work crew. I had a pretty large order and they turned it around very quickly. This is a no frills spot, but the food is hot, fresh, and tasty. Crispy catfish with fries. Cheeseburger was seasoned well. Fresh lettuce and tomato to dress the burger. Canned soft drinks are ice cold. The fried rice is more popular than free lottery tickets 😁. Most people place order to go, but there's a few tables inside if you want to eat onsite.“

“Had this delivered so I am not sure about the restaurant. The meals and soups were a nice portion. The Beef and Bell pepper was great. Sesame Chicken was bland but not bad. Wonton soup has shredded cabbage but not a real strong flavor. Egg drop soup wasn’t bad. Fried rice has a great smoky flavor. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and it was reasonably priced.“

“This is the only Fast Food Chinese Restaurant closest to me. There are others but if you want to wait its up to you. I love Chinese my favorite it could be because that was all i grew with and tried evrything on their menu. Japanese Restaurant hard to find but this chinese Restaurant known to have sushi to. Vietnamese i cant understand their menu and have the love for their food same as all Asian foods, Thailand, Cambodian, Hungarian, Checklosavakian, African, you name it there is good in them all.“

“I grew up in the neighborhood and ate here very often, got older and moved to JV and I had a taste for them. Mind you I havent eaten there in over 15+ yrs, I got the wings & combination rice.....I didnt even make it outta the parking lot, that food still HIT!!!!!! Its the only thing still thriving(not worried bout cititrends). Everytime I leave the nailshop, imma go visit. Im so glad they're still open.“

I love how their General Chicken has that crisp but still smoothed in all the delicious sauce! I pass up 3 simular places every time I come here with no hesitation!
