“They guy that owns this was the main chef at Captain Ds iirc.I’m from New Orleans and his food is so good you can just go here and spare the trip for amazing Cajun seafood.I love the crawfish and shrimp po boys and the fish plates are amazing.Hush puppies on point and he even makes Fried Boudin Balls which you really must try.“

“Ok. You NEED to come here! We were scouring Austin area to find some good food after a museum trip. The service ALONE was reason enough to come back. They legit treat you like family the minute you walk in. The food was delicious: catfish Poboy, crabcake, red beans and rice, corn dogs for kids. Every single thing was incredible, fulllll of flavor and came out in 10 minutes. We also had an old fashioned. Deliciously made, and GREAT price!!! Trust me, this is worth the visit! No servers but people continually come up to check on you, self serve water. We will be back EVERY time we visit Austin!!“

Everything was amazing down to the fresh homemade fries and chunky blue cheese dressing. I had to take my bread pudding home as I was happily too full to finish. This place is a jewel for Manor. “We were a party of four. Had to wait approx 30 minutes for a table on a Saturday at 5:30 pm. Server was busy so we weren’t tended to as often as we would have liked, but server was good and was efficient when asked for things. We ordered 12 Cajun wings, hushpuppies, 2 pounds of snow crab, and 2 pounds of crawfish. Flavor was good. Quantity was good. Quality was good. Family friendly environment. Handicapped parking available. Not pet friendly. Bathroom was clean, restaurant was clean. With tip came out to about 35 per person. 2 alcoholic beverages. Would recommend.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of set ups for larger families.“

“The place is very good, the food is excellent, the only thing is that in the place the waiters take attributes that in my opinion are inappropriate and even less in the way of saying things since one of the waitresses has told me and my family that we couldn't sit at the table since it was their table and that if we wanted we had to sit at the outside tables because that was their table since it was a table that was free, not even to say that it was reserved, only that the waitress just told us. He states that the table was his, period, that it would be good to ask the administration if that is allowed.“
