Rachel was lovely server-very nice, knowledgeable of the menu, and had great timing. They had a small bar, high top I believe, and a mix of tables and booths. Outdoor seating as well on the patio.“

“I have eaten at Juniper a number of times over the past 3 years, but this visit was different. Juniper definitely upped its game for the Tasting Menu experience. The presentations were outstanding and the bites were very, very delicious. I have been fortunate to dine at a number of 1, 2, and 3 Michelin Star restaurants and can tell when a tasting menu experience is good. Upon the arrival of the first course, I could see that the staff had taken their skills to a higher level. This continued throughout all of the courses. The wine pairing was also very good. My only are of constructive criticism — which I shared with the team — was that each wine pour should include a presentation of the bottle in case one wishes to search for a particular wine at their favorite wine store. After providing this comment to staff, they showed me each bottle for the rest of the meal. It was nice that they listened rather than just ignore a guest. This made me feel like they valued my opinion. I asked for a seat at the chairs by the kitchen so I could watch the plating. The three chefs near the counter — including the head chef — engaged with me throughout the evening making for a very fun experience. Hats off to Juniper........I believe they are in their way to earning their first Michelin Star!“

“I have been craving some good pasta and did a Google search for places nearby. I learned that this is a family business and the person helping me was so nice. Even gave me a sample of something they're working on. I would have taken pictures but I ate everything because it was incredible. The rigatoni was my favorite. I'm coming back and choosing different items from the menu!“

“Stopped by after spotting the food truck opened at 1:30 am . Lady was making tortillas by hand. I especially liked the onion and habanero they served with the order. The Jamaica agua fresca was tangy and refreshing.The pastor and tripe where delicious. Worth the price and the family running this business is very kind and hard working to be out there this late.“

“Holy cow!! I’m rarely surprised to find a new gem in Austin. We have so many, but I feel like I rarely find a new “something special.” Well, I found a new gem today at Casa Bianca!

Not only was the service amazing (shout out to Richie!), but the drink, FOOD, entire service crew (from runners to servers to host to chef!!), and atmosphere were all Michelin-caliber. The chef even came out to chat with us (he saw me literally lick the plate it was so the food was so good!).

The risotto was my favorite of the night if I was forced to pick, followed closely by those chicken wings (I almost got them for “dessert” but was too full). But genuinely, an exquisite evening from top to bottom!!

“We stopped by Bufalina Due on a Sunday around 4 PM and were seated right away. A nice surprise—we learned they offer daily happy hour with $2 off draft beers, half-off select pizzas, and $8 house wines.

Our server, Molly, was warm and attentive, making the whole experience seamless. We ordered the Caesar salad (9/10), cacio e pepe (7/10), and mushroom pizza (8/10). The mushroom pizza in particular stood out—rich, earthy, and full of flavor.

The only drawback for me was that several dishes leaned a bit heavy on the salt. Still, the quality, atmosphere, and service make Bufalina Due worth a visit!“
