“My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. “Let me tell you what when I saw it was five dollars per pop. I was kind of hesitant, but as they say when in Rome and I’m telling you what I was highly surprised completely amazed so much that I looked into getting a franchise of these back home, I spoke with the owner of this franchise here, Kirk Super awesome guy told me all about the business but what really sells it is all the different flavors and the quality of a gourmet popsicle. This isn’t cheap little popsicle truck with cheap popsicles. This is high-quality good stuff.“

Sam is great in the kitchen but SUSIE Is the sweetest friendliest owner we have ever met! Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The best pancakes ever! “Huge ice cream cone serving! I got the triple dip with rocky road, strawberry, & pecan praline. Appreciate that. Efficient & friendly servers. Spacious indoor area with more tables than other Braum’s. Excellent ice cream. Lots of parking. Only negative is the cramped restrooms that’s in dire need of updating.“
