“I attempted to order lunch for my family yesterday, and the lunch specials show to be available until 3pm. I was placing my order on the restaurant site, and the information was coming up for the Lunch & Weekly specials that they would only appear for ordering during the valid time. I tried several times to check out, but because my order wasn't going to be ready to pick up before 3pm, their site kept giving me an error and prompting me to remove the Lunch & Weekly special items from my cart. I then called the restaurant directly several times, and got no answer - only the voicemail recording to input my mailbox number. My daughter went to the restaurant, and ofcourse, they were not busy! It was then a little bit after 3pm and they were able to have our full price order ready within 10 minutes!“

“This place is great ! I am a huge fan of their sesame chicken and the spicy tenders! The menu seems weird at first, but give it a try, you will not be disappointed. I know it is a chicken place but the fish and chips are really good as well. Everyone there seems to enjoy what they do and it shows in the great tasting food.

It is a very casual place, so don't expect fancy, expect great food.“

“We have been ordering here for years. They stay open, even in the freeze. Haven't disappointed us yet. I like to get the garlic chicken and a large combo meat fried rice. The soups are delicious as well. My family gets the orange chicken and lo mien.“

“Really good food and price is affordable. I don’t eat much so it was literally enough for me and my 22 year old always hungry grandson. His favorite food is Chinese and he didn’t leave a morsel of crumbs.

“I have been to Golden Gate on two separate occasions each time I have back the chicken lo mein with hot and sour soup this past Tuesday I ordered (on accident )chow mein with hot sour soup and I received a call from Golden Gate asking if I meant to order this and if I did, they can keep it the same but if I didn’t, they’ll change it for me so I can get my typical order if that does not go to show how above and beyond they will go for their customers I don’t know what is. I definitely will continue to frequent golden gate because they reached out whenever I made a mistake and they did not have to.“

“Omg yes love it at first I thought it was gonna be a no good food when I went in there and sat down my God. They had a variety of food. The servers were A1. Just would need a little remodel on the inside and the outside because I mean it looks a little dull. I’m not gonna lie. Definitely need some brighter. Colors looks a little too dark in there besides that the place is great. Food was great. They had so much crawfish that I was looking for.“

“I've been eating here for about 9 years... I've never had a complaint until today... I ordered combination lo mein through Uber eats, & I must say I am so disappointed.... Idk what it is but it's not good as it usually is...“

“Good Chinese food. Wasn't disappointed or wowed the food taste as it should, the rice was a tad bland for me personally. The orange chicken was solid. Egg roll and wonton were fairly good. All in all it could just be my taste. If it were a budget option I would rate 5 stars, but it was $11 without a drink.“

“I love Chinese food with a passion, I love going to this place and try all their different food until I filled up which usually takes me about 50 minutes to an hour or depending if I'm with someone else and having conversation I might take 1 hour and 30 minutes. I love their egg rolls, their fresh soft biscuits there sesame orange 🍊 chicken 🐔🍗 their shrimp 🍤🦐 their sushi 🍣 their sweet pork, their rice,🌾🍚, fruit among other selections. Upon entrance you are greeted by the cashier and and walks you to a available clean 🫧 table the atmosphere is great 😃👍 and you see families enjoying the food while holding conversation.“

“These guys are pretty fast with orders! Some would say to call in but if you’re just driving by, stop in. I promise, you’ll be outta there in 10 minutes or less! Now… (Clearing my throat) The atmosphere really gives a Kung Fu vibe but with Spanish undertones. It should be El’Wok Xpress. But they’re friendly people, don’t really say much but you’re in and out so fast! Although they got two of my orders wrong, it was still good! Only thing is, if you don’t like spicy food, just let them know and they’ll turn off the heat!

“I’ve tried many Chinese food places since I’ve moved to Red Oak so I wouldn’t have to make the drive but I just can’t find any restaurant that makes a delicious combination fried rice like them! They use all the right ingredients to make it my favorite rice and make me come back for more! Not to mention, they give you SO MUCH so it’s definitely worth it!“

“This place is busy and being ran so efficiently. There are three women running the front coordinating in store and to go orders. Shoutout to Maritza, Hallie, and Hannah for being calm and accurate. There’s one guy cooking up the food and working the kitchen. He’s seems to be an Asian male and I can’t see his name tag cause he’s working! Overall, one of the best experiences I’ve had and the food looks great!“

“Its a nice place. They had pot roast that tasted home cooked and so delicious! However it is only served at dinner. I have been been a few times and I think the dinner which ive only had once on a Sunday is more to my liking than the lunch. It is reasonably priced though. I will go back and update of anything changes. I am going to go for dinner and i can actually say if the dinner is more appealing than lunch.“
