“I attempted to order lunch for my family yesterday, and the lunch specials show to be available until 3pm. I was placing my order on the restaurant site, and the information was coming up for the Lunch & Weekly specials that they would only appear for ordering during the valid time. I tried several times to check out, but because my order wasn't going to be ready to pick up before 3pm, their site kept giving me an error and prompting me to remove the Lunch & Weekly special items from my cart. I then called the restaurant directly several times, and got no answer - only the voicemail recording to input my mailbox number. My daughter went to the restaurant, and ofcourse, they were not busy! It was then a little bit after 3pm and they were able to have our full price order ready within 10 minutes!“

“I have visited this restaurant on two occasions, the young lady that takes your orders doesn’t seem to be very friendly. The last time I visited there was a young black teen that put in his order and later came back to pick it up she bagged his food and practically threw it at him. The food is very good no complaints there she just needs to have better customer service. And also the location is not in a very good areas Because there’s a lot of homeless people hanging around. One customer that was there during the same time I was there didn’t know what to do because this guy cleaned his windows on his car without asking so he felt obligated to give a tip. Which we as customers are there to either pick up our meals or set and eat out food at the establishment without being harassed by the homeless people. I’m sure you’ve tried fixing the problem it just a bad look for the business.“

“Food are very great. I love it .The place seems very antic to me and i love how they serve.The waitress were very great and was warmly welcomed. The habachi grill was new and the seafoods were great. Highly recommend to visit and have a nice time there“

“Left 4 stars for atmosphere because the ac didn’t seem to be working properly. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The manager Elizabeth helped us when we had issues with our reward, she was patient with us having to wait to redownload our apps will be back!“

“If you are looking for the flavor of the old school chinese resturant. This is the place. Imagine a $9.25 Lunch Buffet, that has egg rolls, slamming Lo Mein, and the best flavored sesame chicken i had in years. I went at 2 pm, so the pickings were slim, but delicious. I felt I got my moneys worth, and a great, satisfying meal. This is an icon of Oak Cliff. Decor a little dated, but excellent food for a lunch takeout. Also the Mongolian beef and onions was superb! Green beans fresh and crunchy good. ♥♥“

Just would need a little remodel on the inside and the outside because I mean it looks a little dull. I’m not gonna lie. Definitely need some brighter. “I have been to Golden Gate on two separate occasions each time I have back the chicken lo mein with hot and sour soup this past Tuesday I ordered (on accident )chow mein with hot sour soup and I received a call from Golden Gate asking if I meant to order this and if I did, they can keep it the same but if I didn’t, they’ll change it for me so I can get my typical order if that does not go to show how above and beyond they will go for their customers I don’t know what is. I definitely will continue to frequent golden gate because they reached out whenever I made a mistake and they did not have to.“

Now… (Clearing my throat) The atmosphere really gives a Kung Fu vibe but with Spanish undertones. It should be El’Wok Xpress. But they’re friendly people, don’t really say much but you’re in and out so fast! Although they got two of my orders wrong, it was still good! Only thing is, if you don’t like spicy food, just let them know and they’ll turn off the heat!

All in all it could just be my taste. If it were a budget option I would rate 5 stars, but it was $11 without a drink.“

“This place is busy and being ran so efficiently. There are three women running the front coordinating in store and to go orders. Shoutout to Maritza, Hallie, and Hannah for being calm and accurate. There’s one guy cooking up the food and working the kitchen. He’s seems to be an Asian male and I can’t see his name tag cause he’s working! Overall, one of the best experiences I’ve had and the food looks great!“

“We came back for another visit and WOW the place has improved so much!! This time we got the kung pao chicken and chicken lo mein and it was absolutely delicious. Everything came out hot and fresh. The renovations are looking awesome so can’t wait to see how it looks in there on our next visit!

“5 stars for this Panda Express. The line moved fast even during the lunch rush, and the food was hot and fresh, not sitting under the heat lamp for an hour like some locations.

I got the Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef, both cooked well and not greasy. Rice was fluffy, portions were generous, and the staff didn't rush me or skimp when I asked for extra veggies.

Clean dining area, easy parking, and the order was correct the first time. This is my go to spot now.“
