“I lived only 30 minutes from the Driftwood location of Salt Lick when I worked in the Texas Hill Country. I craved it then, but I crave it even more now that I'm nearly five hours away. So delicious and who doesn't want their picture next to the pit?”
“We had an amazing experience at Duchman Family Winery! 🍷 Our host, Richard, was outstanding — his exceptional knowledge and passion for wines made the visit truly memorable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the wines were fantastic. Definitely a must-visit when in the Austin area!”
“I enjoyed my visit to Fall Creek Vineyards. I had Reserve Tasting and my favorite of the flight was the Chez Rosé. The tasting experience was exceptional. The host was wonderful, very friendly, and kept up with all my questions and conversation, making the experience engaging.
The tasting room was cozy, and despite the garden being closed, it was a great, intimate spot to enjoy the wine. Highly recommend stopping here!”

“My son lives in Austin and every time I visit we go to Driftwood. Tomorrow 7/2 will be our 4th time to go. We get a bottle of wine and walk over to the bistro. Great service and their stuffed avocados and steak quesadillas are awesome.”
“I tried a beer flight. All 5 beers were on point and true to style. The Belgian Amber was my favorite. This is my goto craft Brewery from now on. A true jewel to hill country brewing.”
“My date and I had the BEST time at Wimberley Valley Winery!! The whole place has such a pretty, relaxed ambiance -- perfect for hanging out and sipping wine.
The variety of wines was impressive, with excellent flavors across the board, and what really made it shine were our two hosts, Jake and Carter. They went above and beyond -- generous pours, so thoughtful and sweet, and they made the whole experience feel personal, fun, and easy. None of that stiff, snobby wine vibe here, just genuine hospitality and good times.
And as if that wasn’t enough, we even stumbled into a surprise crew of Porsches outside -- 25 Porches on their way to a show in this picturesque scene. Great wine, great people, beautiful setting -- honestly doesn’t get better than that. Huge thanks to Jake and Carter for making it unforgettable. These guys deserve a bonus!!! :) We’ll definitely be back!”

“I have been looking forward to trying Abby Jane, grain to table makes me so happy. We bought a donut, almond monkey bread, chocolate babka, and a sourdough loaf (pan). The pastries were amazing, it was 2:40pm and the donut was incredibly soft. The almond monkey bread was just sweet enough and I will be buying my sandwhich bread from them. My only issue was the chocolate babka was a bit dry and burned on the edges.”
“Great place for families, great food and great people coming through. Best spot in the Hill Country!”

“We needed a last minute breakfast pastry platter for a small wedding venue near by. I was recommend to this place by the owner of Home spun in Dripping Springs. It was 2 minutes to closing time & a very friendly young woman whipped up a beautiful platter for me to deliver to my Daughters future in-laws! Thank you so much!!! I highly recommend this wonderful place! We’ll stop in again sometime & enjoy a coffee & fresh baked pastries 🩷”
“Great cask beer which rare in Texas, beer tenders are awesome. Can’t say enough about this place. Don’t live near dripping springs but when go through there we always try and stop!”
“Beerburg Brewery is like going to a good friend's house for dinner. A relaxed atmosphere that is not trendy. Always welcomed with a smile. Not to mention a fun little 9 basket disc golf course that is more technical than long. Come by enough times and the staff remembers your name. That's always a good feeling to be welcomed like a friend. The beers are changed from time to time so it like going to a new bar and tasting something new without going to a new bar to try something new. Plus, all of the beer ingredients are native and harvested in Texas.”

“had never tried Kelly’s BBQ but decided I would order while I waited for our football team meals to be ready and it was SO GOOD!! 10/10 recommend, we’ll be back for sure!”
“I really liked this place! Amazing beer, especially the hazy one! Very deep dense taste, and color???… A very professional approach is felt! It is with the soul and knowledge, as well as love for their work. Using the best quality ingredients. It was like nothing to me!Despite the rainy Saturday, there was amazing live music-guitar. It was wonderful. And I also want to mention the head chef Max! An incredibly radiant person! And what delicious burgers he cooked personally and brought them to his guests! It costs so much!!! Thanks to him!My son Max, 11, and daughter Marianne, 5, were delighted! It was so delicious! The most delicious burgers, they told me, and they are still the same.We also had time to watch our favorite football (of course, HOOK ‘em HORNS ?????) (the very beginning, and yet ☺️!!!).I would recommend this place with the most beautiful territory in any weather! Clean air, and somehow everything feels right, exactly the way it should)! Such a mood of the place!!!”

“This place is so fun and relaxed. It’s like the country brewery of my dream. Pastor meets brewery and goats for fun totally worth the trip and that’s a big thing cause I came here from Nebraska.”

“Not sure why I haven’t left a review since I’ve eaten here so frequently. What prompted me to write this today was because of how well the manager handled an issue from an order I placed over the weekend. I asked about the order being remade days later and explained what happened and the manager was so kind and explained the standards they have (which I feel to be excellent). I have work lunches here and get take out about twice a month for my wife and I on the weekends. Always great food and fast service. Mistakes will always happen so it’s great to know staff will take care of customers. Route 12 will continue to be our families go to spot in Dripping. Better Cheddar Burgers, chicken fried chicken and Cajun pasta are the 3 dishes I rotate ordering.”

“I saw The Shore on my Google map and clicked on the link. I saw their Happy Hour Menu and noticed they had 1/2 price Oysters and several other choices. We decided to stop there on our way back home. We got there at 3:30 and found that they would not open until 4 pm due to an earlier water leak. We asked if we could just sit at the bar until they opened because we really wanted to have oysters for our anniversary. The manager said since we were wanting oysters we could sit at the bar and get drinks and the oysters. Chef Cody explained all the different oysters offered and we decided to let him choose the oysters and we were not disappointed . He chose the gulf coast, summer time, Black moon and pink moon. All the options were fresh tasting with just a touch of saltiness . We also had the mussels with fries. We have not had mussels this good in a very long time. the broth was thick with butter, wine and capers. The grilled ciabatta bread was so buttery and crispy we ordered additional pieces. The calamari was lightly breaded rings and tentacles and were heavenly. We also tried the Hi Mexican Lager on tap, it was light and smooth. Our bartender was very sweet and helpful with our choices. We also would like to thank the manager who being so accommodating to us and making our 42nd anniversary so special. We will definitely stop there again!!!!!”
