“What an incredible experience as first time guests at Tillie's! Upon entering the restaurant this past Saturday in Dripping Springs, we were immediately greeted with A+ service & hospitality by the Manager, Laurel. She went above & beyond explaining the property & showered us with her passion of this historical landmark. We highly recommend for hosting an event, trying their collection of wines, all summed up for a memorable experience! We cannot wait to come back! ♥️“

“Best chicken sandwich around, bar staff is .... Less than cordial and must pour drinks with a micrometer and a nuclear scale. You're charging me $8 for a 1oz pour from a $22 bottle of bullet (at retail!) and $3 more for a double, you REALLY only pour EXACTLY 2oz ??? You recoup your food costs on the second guy from that bottle, leaving you with 23 more singles. Then to add a $2 upcharge for ice??? Really?? A tiny bit of generosity at the bar side would make all the difference, and I wouldn't be all salty about going back. Eventually you run out of people that are going to help you make that $126 a bottle....“

“This place was fantastic. I stopped there twice while in town. I had dinner and breakfast. Catfish was great! The employees were so sweet and attentive. Special shoutout to Colton I think?? Red headed guy- very nice and helpful on sights to take in. There was also a young lady there that night who was just as helpful. Great place all around!“

“5 of us enjoyed a really nice meal after seeing Wicked at EVO theatre. We could hear everyone talk clearly, which is unusual these days in a popular restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The spicy meat doughnuts were amazing! We also enjoyed the spicy shrimp, the burger, side of broccolini, a pork belly salad, and a burrata salad. We share a big desert- bread pudding and cookie with ice cream dessert was very tasty! Leah our waitress was terrific and though we are doing Dry January we enjoyed reading the creative wine labels and most were 4 start or above ratings. We will be back in February to sample wine and enjoy another good meal with friends.“

“Lovely ambience and decor. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. Staff was attentive and friendly. The peach salad was delicious- dressing on the side as I find that salads are often overdressed. Halibut was flaky and cooked perfectly. Hubby had the steak rare+ and said it was also just right. Plate will definitely be in our regular rotation!“

“My son lives in Austin and every time I visit we go to Driftwood. Tomorrow 7/2 will be our 4th time to go. We get a bottle of wine and walk over to the bistro. Great service and their stuffed avocados and steak quesadillas are awesome.“

“This is an amazing restaurant disguised as a sports bar. I have absolutely no interest in watching sports, I come for the food. They usually have 1 or 2 TVs set on chive, so people like me have something to watch. Amazing food, super good service.“
