“Let me start by saying I am a super picky eater, especially when it comes to Mexican food. We never eat out on a week day but my son and I were exhausted and I did not have it in me to cook today or to drive out of the area we live in during traffic hours. He couldn’t even believe we were dining out on a week day lol. I remembered this place since I’ve driven by so many times and was convinced to try it since it had good reviews on google. I was very pleasantly surprised, everything was great! The food was yummy from the chips & salsa to the entrees, (I had the shrimp in diablo sauce and my son had gorditas) and it was nice, clean, and cozy. The gentleman who served us was super attentive and friendly. We will be back.“

“I was traveling from Midland Texas and decided to stop by after our trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo. First, the atmosphere is amazing, I loved all the vibrant Mexican colors and decor. I also loved all the little neon signs which made great photo ops, lol! 😅 The service was fast and friendly, the staff were super attentive and accommodating. Now, the food was aaamazing! I felt like I was back in my hometown of El Paso, TX. I didn’t expect such delicious and authentic Mexican tasting food, I definitely expected something rather Tex-Mex but no, the food was beyond my expectations. The salsas were divine. 👌🏼 I had the brunch chilaquiles and they were delicious! 🤤 The price is fair considering the vibe, food and service. 10/10 and I highly recommend. I wish we had something like this in the Permian Basin.“

“I'm from Dallas and grew up experiencing all cultures of food. Fort worth sometimes doesn't have the best selections. This place is incredible. I'm not kidding. My new favorite place to get birreria however you spell it, you will not regret this choice. Just go now. Everything so fresh. Great prices. Great job. “We have been eating at la Isla for 30 years. Mainly the Park Row and Cooper location and when they moved to Pantene we followed them there. We have sampled the menu widely but I am centered on the tostada de Ceviche for a start. Then the sour cream chicken enchilada plate. We love the rice and beans and I love to put some of the delicious salsa on them. My wife usually gets either the fajitas or the tacos Al carbon. The chips and salsa are great too. Moderately priced as well. Give them a try.“

“🥰👍The Mexican Inn Café – As a recent homeowner in the Fairmount Historical district of Fort Worth, Texas and needing a caterer for a Birthday celebration I searched yelp* with way too many choices. After much research and difficult pricing decision to make I took a deeper dive into the website for the Mexican Inn Café. What I found was lots of happy folks with both food and the restaurant. Next step was asking around for personal experience and found again lots of happy folks. Last step was a personal visit to check out the food. Well, that was a pleasant surprise for a restaurant that has been there for 60 + years – great food – great service and impressive service personal. Making the arrangements for the catering service was easy and working with Annette Rosas far exceeded my expectations. On the day of the birthday party the food arrived on time and their set-up service was excellent. OH, those yummy food smells. Everything looked delicious, was well prepared and the display was a treat to the eye. In addition - all was an enormous success from the party goers’ praises … except for there being little left over for me to enjoy the next day>LOL. I would like to recommend the Mexican Inn Café 8th Street in Fort Worth and Annette Rosas to anyone in need of catering services or an excellent place to eat. Thank you Annette for making my chose an excellent one – You are Amazing.“

“This restaurant is very popular. I have visited on different days of the week and it always busy. The food is good, portions are acceptable. Although they do not have enough parking space once you are inside they are very organized and service is fast. Last time visited W had menudo and it was hot ( as it is supposed to be) and you get all the garnish you need. Overall, it is a good 👍 place to visit next time you crave menudo.“

“I had my husband's birthday party there and they did amazing at accommodating all of us. The food came out quickly and we requested a special order for the tacos to be arranged in the number my husband was turning. It was very cute! They even played birthday music over the speakers and made it even more special. Thank you for your exceptional service and the gift cards. “We had them cater our wedding and everyone couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was! Beto showed up earlier than needed and had dinner ready to go as soon as cocktail hour ended! They had great options as well, including quesadillas for the vegetarians in our party! Can't recommend them enough! thank you Sazón doña Mary! 💖“
