“Let me start by saying I am a super picky eater, especially when it comes to Mexican food. We never eat out on a week day but my son and I were exhausted and I did not have it in me to cook today or to drive out of the area we live in during traffic hours. He couldn’t even believe we were dining out on a week day lol. I remembered this place since I’ve driven by so many times and was convinced to try it since it had good reviews on google. I was very pleasantly surprised, everything was great! The food was yummy from the chips & salsa to the entrees, (I had the shrimp in diablo sauce and my son had gorditas) and it was nice, clean, and cozy. The gentleman who served us was super attentive and friendly. We will be back.“

“Super quality food. Great service! It was a busy night, so we had to wait 30 min approx. But the time went fast. The crowd made the restaurant noisier than usual but still at a level we could converse without raising voices.

“We have been eating at la Isla for 30 years. Mainly the Park Row and Cooper location and when they moved to Pantene we followed them there. We have sampled the menu widely but I am centered on the tostada de Ceviche for a start. Then the sour cream chicken enchilada plate. We love the rice and beans and I love to put some of the delicious salsa on them. My wife usually gets either the fajitas or the tacos Al carbon. The chips and salsa are great too. Moderately priced as well. Give them a try.“

“I was traveling from Midland Texas and decided to stop by after our trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo. First, the atmosphere is amazing, I loved all the vibrant Mexican colors and decor. I also loved all the little neon signs which made great photo ops, lol! 😅 The service was fast and friendly, the staff were super attentive and accommodating. Now, the food was aaamazing! I felt like I was back in my hometown of El Paso, TX. I didn’t expect such delicious and authentic Mexican tasting food, I definitely expected something rather Tex-Mex but no, the food was beyond my expectations. The salsas were divine. 👌🏼 I had the brunch chilaquiles and they were delicious! 🤤 The price is fair considering the vibe, food and service. 10/10 and I highly recommend. I wish we had something like this in the Permian Basin.“

“The breakfast burrito was pretty good. I hope they are able to get a bigger location soon. I have no complaints and can't wait to return to try their enchiladas for lunch. They are typically crowded, so I recommend getting there early or calling in your order.“

“My kiddos and I have never been to TC although we live less than two minutes from one. Gave it a try and absolutely loved it. The service was awesome, proficient, and friendly! The bathrooms were spotless! Shout out to them! We will be back!“

“I'm from Dallas and grew up experiencing all cultures of food. Fort worth sometimes doesn't have the best selections. This place is incredible. I'm not kidding. My new favorite place to get birreria however you spell it, you will not regret this choice. Just go now. Everything so fresh. Great prices. Great job. I would think I would have to go to a nice restaurant to get this quality.“

“I’ve been here three times now and their food always hits! The queso Birria tacos paired with the salsa verde were so delicious. Hubby had the Mexican hamburguesa and my daughter the Birria Ramen and they agree. Everything was great and I would highly recommend checking them out. Service was fast and atmosphere was nice.“

“We had them cater our wedding and everyone couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was! Beto showed up earlier than needed and had dinner ready to go as soon as cocktail hour ended! They had great options as well, including quesadillas for the vegetarians in our party! Can't recommend them enough! thank you Sazón doña Mary! 💖“
